When I worked in Shetlands islands, Scotland, I was lying to my whole family and all of my friends for 3 months that I am not coming home to Maribor, Slovenia yet and misleading them, so they would believe me after some time. In the mean time I was planning how to surprise them and of course how to record it all on camera so I can share it with you. I gave them the best surprise they will remem...

Your grandfather reminds me so much of my own. He used to say the very "back from the dead" thing to me when I came to visit him. Brought back a lot of memories! why would you fly Shetland to Heathrow ? .. surely Edinburgh or Glasgow or even Aberdeen has direct flight to Slovenia
Actually there aren't, I just checked. Also, flights from Slovenia are way more expensive than surrounding countries.
@@TravelNomad... That's a surprise. Hopefully when Scotland is Independent they will be able to expand international travel making it easier for Europe to visit Scotland.

Cool clip Alen! That last part about making fun of yourself is hilarious :D Also like how you managed to point out some of the main attractions in a fun way. One nice thing about Ljubljana that you didn't mention is that the wine here is really good. Not many people who come here know this but Slovenia makes some of the worlds best wine! My company organizes wine tastings in Ljubljana (winetastingljubljana.com). You should pay us a visit next time for a try, the tasting is on us! :))

Well, I'd says that Slovenian wine is good all over Slovenia, not just Ljubljana :P Also, this wasn't my choice, those five points were recommended by locals :) I do have to admit that you have a really beautiful website (I love the main picture!), very modern. Hannelore Verhelst It was a GoPro attached to my hand with a shoe lace :) Other camera filming me from far away was their camera but I bought the video from them :) Thank you :)
