I have a slightly larger one , runs great ,wet snow your screwed, it will clog up burn up belts you will get real intamate with it fast . How ever i put a paddle upgrade kit and greatly improved the wet snow deal also some adjusting to cables helped hope it works out for you

Long story short at the end of the day this guy forgot to take out his safety cable, drove away and f…., things up 😮

If the safety cable is pulled out, it may or may not break the cable, but their should be no damage to the assembly other than the cable, which is easy to replace. If the cable is pulled for whatever reason- you should be able to reset the assembly and continue on, you just need to release the lock under the brake assembly. I’d suggest you view other videos about how these work, as someone sold you a bridge as to all the repair cost you endured.,

That other piece attached to the cable that contains your coupler locking pin is a brake lockout for the surge coupler. Now that you have a brand new coupler and a 5 pin flat, that has the reverse signal, it's a non-issue. Others like myself, who's trailer plug is only a 4 way flat, have to get out and insert that lockout tab in the brake lockout bracket which sits just behind the front roller. It can be a real PITA not only to remember to put in anytime you want to back up anything with a slight grade, but also to remember to remove so you're not driving down the road with your surge brakes locked out if you can even get the thing to stay in, in the first place, as they're suppose to self-eject, which they tend to do even when you're backing up. I bought a magnetic one that's worked great, but unlike the chinsy one that comes with those couplers, I do actually have to remember to remove it or I'll have no surge brakes. Also worth noting is the breakaway cable should not be attached to the safety chains, but as you said, but to your hitch's chain bracket. An easy way to keep that thing in place is to remove the 'S' link that's at the end of that cable and put a carabiner in it's place, then you just clip onto the chain bracket.

The break away cable: I have seen two different hitch balls, broken. They weren’t mine and both looked like a manufacturing defect. (At least one was made in China.)

When I bought my first car, I wrote a check for the amount on the window . Dumb huh. But I have learned the art and skill of haggling. In other cultures it is common culture to set the price high and interact with a customer. One entices, flirts, compliments and even insults in jest to vie for a good bargain. "How much did you jew them down?" Is an accomplishment, a sense of pride. I found the products to be satisfactory and don't ask me how much I paid lol. You do a pretty good job on the explanation side of how it all works, the best I have found on YT. You should reshoot so we can the areas and details you describe.

I’d love to love your video, and I really like the content, BUT I cant see most of what you’re intending to shoot. Your camera is not getting the subject or your comments (like the lockout pin, etc). This would be good if I had the visual, but you’re focusing on the boat in the background and not the brake actuator and its components. I hope this helps.

i was told that a lot of these trailers also have free Reverse pads,, which are slightly tapered so that they physically cant engage the brakes when moving in reverse. the problem is, how does one know which type they have?

Part 2 of my comment - the face exfoliator feels weird. I wonder if the “dead skin” coming off your face is just the ingredients clumping together from reaction to the water. Sure, if it did work that’s cool but I would never pay that much for that anyway. Another thing the guy did was pull up the browser on his phone and went to Walmart.com and showed the product for $250 to really “show” me that’s I’m getting a good deal. Do these people have no integrity??? Like, “oh here’s a single lady walking alone in the mall avoiding eye contact, let’s haggle her”… He showed me receipts from other people as I was trying to walk away for the last time and some people had spent $5000. I was shocked. Those poor people. And no where in the store did it say No Returns. I was checking to see if I could return it later but on the receipt it says no returns. I’m so angry. Anyway thanks for posting this video. I don’t ever comment on anything but I felt I needed to this time. Let’s hope people know about this BEFORE rather than after.

Thanks for posting this. I tried to find info on the web to see if anybody had a similar experience and I found your video. I am a 29 year old single woman and got haggled so bad. I went to the mall in Layton, Utah and was minding my own business. I unfortunately was walking alone and made for an easy target. I try to avoid eye contact and just walk away. The sales dude of course goes “pretty sample for a pretty lady” and normally I don’t fall for that so I keep walking but he follows me! I know I should have kept walking. I wish I would have. He did everything your explained in your video. Tried the exfoliate cream on one hand to compare to the other. Showed how the moisture works better on that hand. What a bunch of crap. I’m so mad. As I tried to get up he put his hands on my shoulders and was like “I do something special”. He did have a foreign European accent…. He kept trying to lower the prices and throw in more products… I kept saying “I need to think about it” because I didn’t want to be rude and that’s my passive way of getting out of those situations. Long story short - after maybe 30 minutes of me trying to leave he said he’d do the cream for $50. As soon as I said ok fine, he went to the counter, rang me up and then ignored me like I was just some transaction!!!! Which of course I expected that. But so sad.
