Whoever designed this needs a slap in the mouth. Like give me these pieces sure, but I just did 6 biomes with the same shapes and now you take them away and give us this horse shit? Also the roof panels are thicker than the wall panels and it just looks weird and bad

I definitely think Mistlands is more “aesthetically pleasing” prettier. Ashlands more grimy looks like bunker kinda. The roofing is complicated for sure

They need to add corners..

They didn't finish making the build pieces, they only have inside corner roof options and no outside corner...

I wont build with this as its not user friendly nor does it give the player the flexablity to build how they want. I do love the look of the roof and ceiling but again, its not user friendly.

Very poor design choice by the devs with these roof pieces. I look forward to someone releasing a mod that shows the dev's how to do them properly.

it looks clumsy and ugly with no thought to it. With the amount of time they had for this expansion, it is inexcusable. Highly disappointed with the lack of build pieces in a game that touts a building side to it. I do not see how this passed the smell test with IG.

I'm definitely not a fan of the roof and arches. They're good to accent walls to give it some dimensions, but the roof pieces are bad

Looks really good. I do definitely agree about the corners. they could have simply applied the Ash texture to the old corners and resolved the issue with not actually being able to build an actual corner. they also need a 1x2 that would help immensely.

The moment you're not on passive mode and flying about that lava will start spitting burning rocks all over the place and it'll get destroyed though....

Mate, I feel the same, I'd love more options. FOr instance, external corners (o-type corners just like the wooden roof). Because now, we only have this i-type corner. So everytime we need to do a corner, it's exactly how you showed; we need to breakdown into i-type corners and leave this gap (yeah, eventually we cover with tiragle shaped walls). But, yeah mate, I feel you. It's lacking a finishing with an external corner roof only.

The design is mega flat, it's all in 90 degree angles imo if you did the central pillar circular and the staircases spiral around it but still those support beams are an eyesore also could've done a curvier beam design on all the bridges
