……and this entire scene is the reason that this is my least favorite episode.

this isn’t some cool art by the producers it’s a cartoon version of an accurately depicted version of hell from the demons torturing peter and the bugs stinging brian him being chased by gargoyles and in the first scene where there is a guy upside down in the ground with his legs sticking out all ways the producers try to desensitize what hell is truly like and try to make jokes of it they use the theme of brian being on shrooms to justify his dream however this is all real
