Very clear and concise. For many years I always thought of kitchen fire involving overheated cooking oil or fat as a class B fire since it's a burning liquid, wasn't till 3 years ago when I took OHSA 10 and later OHSA 30 that I learned about a class K extinguisher and why it's a bit different than a regular class B fire.

You should probably add that you never turn your back on a fire. After extinguishing the fire, slowly back away while keeping your eyes forward and watching for possible reignition.
I just got this video as an ad and i gotta say, its a great video to make as an ad. The more people that know PASS and the different fire types, the better. I got my training years ago in an optional high school class.
I’m dominate right hand but I put out fires using my left hand to hose and right to squeeze.I play guitar so maybe that’s why I use my left to aim 🤔

The Class K extinguisher is specifically used on grease fryer fires. ABC Dry Chemical would be the choice for most of the other household potential fire hazards.

There's a British version of a water mist extinguisher that claims that unlike regular water extinguishers, water mist works well on flammable liquids and grease fires also. Is that the case with this Amerex water mist extinguisher as well?
all I can say is the amerex extinguisher is not intended for liquid fires it might work on a liquid that is not grease but It would not be the best choice
The American Amerex version is rated for A and C fires. A meaning anything that leaves a ash like wood and paper, C stands for current which is anything that is electrical. I believe that British water extinguishers are water based and they have a bit of foam in them making them able to fight flammable liquids.
I DON'T THINK THE British units use foam but I think the nozzle is specially designed so it can put out a grease fire
