Step-by-Step Tutorial : 3D Printing a Lampshade That Will Amaze You (Skirt, Lampshade)
Thanks for watching.
I made a lampshade compatible with IKEA lamp sets.
The design was inspired by the shape of a mini skirt, and the Voronoi pattern was applied.
It was produced through a 3D printer, and the dark and light wood filaments were applied, respectively.
Personally, I prefer the light wood filament lampshade that has not been painted.

    For the weight optimization, how should they be balanced? From the video It looks like both the front and back assembly is balanced so weight is heavier on one side?

    Hi, I like every Kinetic Sculpture you made from 3D Printing 💯 Since you use Constant Force Spring, it perform better. I would like to ask, does the force spring can be replaced by another spring? I can't find that misumi force spring in my country, besides I can't afford through international shipping due to tax matter. Can you please give me some details of the width, diameter, and length of the force spring? So that I can use that as the reference.

    The print orientation on the arms of the glasses could've been optimized by laying it flat. Stronger part and cleaner look. Really nice glasses though

    Can I simply add bigger spool of spring to add run time to it without any modifications to current assembly? Thanks for sharing. Look forward to making one out of wood. Will be a combination of Laser and CNC parts.

      You can use longer spring but not stronger. If you use stronger spring, total weight of kinetic sculpture should be increased. thanks :)

      @@housdrmoon was wondering if F0.4kg spring is needed? I ordered one off of aliexpress same specs as you listed. That is quite a strong spring! Wondering if you could go lower 0.3 and reduce the amount of weights instead?

      I imagine changing the escape gear would increase runtime as well? from 8 to 12 maybe? magnets would have to be moved accordingly i guess...?

    Fantastic project. I made one but, in my case, in the "rear_subRing" piece, I had to position the magnet against the screw but on the other side, closer to the rear_pawl.

      Es posible que el polo pintado en rojo no sea en realidad el polo norte del imán. Simplemente pretende indicar los polos relativos entre imanes. Gracias por tu aguda pregunta. :)
