Err i need help on my rear fender liner.

Want to thank you for the video. Just replaced the gear in my 2025 Genesis. Worked as advertised. Couldn't have done it without your video & instructions. (And I didn't break off the heating tab)!

I just completed this on my 2016 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 0 - right side. Instructions are the same. Getting the bezel off is a PITA. Saved me a $1,000+. Thank you. I bought two gears and will do the work on the drivers side as a precaution. it is just a matter of time before the drivers side gear has the same issue.

Dealer wants to charge $900 to replace the left bulb. I'll refer to this video to try it myself.

Great video! The step by step was exactly what I needed. Providing the part number was also very helpful since I was really struggling to find the right one without first taking the whole mirror apart. It fit my 2016 3.8 Sedan perfectly.

Thanks Caneswag, the instructions were great. Just a couple of comments to help other who watch it, as the instructions for putting in back together were a little less detailed. 1. Don't forget to reattach the red to the crew on the gear housing. 2. Remember to reattach the wire to the turn signal before bolting the motor back in place.

Has anyone tried just using a tape like a rubber sealing pipe tape for this problem? The area is essentially invisible from inside and out.

Take neg off bat terminal, turn on lights (to drain any power in capacitors or chips, wait 5 min reconnect battery. Car might idle funny for a short bit as system recalibrates. Should fix

Thank you so much for this video. My abs /aeb light was on, did a diag at the dealer - bought the part from 1A auto and had my mechanic fix it. He replaced the Front left hub assembly. Alert went away 👏👏 no more alerts in dashboard.

I am so grateful for this video - thanks - detailed professional and easy to follow.I just completed the job in under 3 hours - if the passeneger mirror does the same thing, I think I can halve that now I know what to do. The best tip was keeping everything separated, so I knew which screws needed to go back where when putting things back together. I was also quoted $1000 +++ by dealership as I needed a new complete Mirror Housing, apparently!!!!! Thanks again.

Hello to you all. I had my rack and pinion replaced and took it to Firestone which pulled the codes… 168787, 162587. Do you think a ABS sensor replacement would resolve this? I have a 2015 as well

Picked up my new G70 about a month ago. Driving home from the dealer, 18 km on the odometer, dry and sunny out, nothing on the road ahead of me, three times, a few minutes apart, the AEB flashed a collision warning and applied the brakes. Disabled the system as soon as I got home as I have zero interest in the car deciding when to apply the brakes. Cruise control is now malfunctioning with the same AEB warning. Taking it back for service shortly.

I also followed the video and replaced the broken retracting gear today. Gear was slipping on shaft. I Did break a retainer tab on the mirror mount but it works okay. I'm not sure how you get around that. Took three hours. Reassembly went quicker than I expected. Tried screwing motor ground wire into wrong hole. I'm taking my wife to Whataburger to celebrate $1000+ savings!

Hey there, love the video! I'm having this issue with my passenger mirror and Hyundai has quoted me $1800.00 because they said the whole assembly needs to be changed. Would you think that the motor shown in the video will solve that issue? My blind side detection is gone as well and the dealership has said that they wont be able to diagnose it until the mirror is fixed because they are connected. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
