I used to surf while stationed at MCBH. I completely understand the thrill and peace it brings along with the connection to the ocean. You should also try fly fishing.

diving into "over" the rocks like that, can end real bad, and getting out being banged on rocks, probably smashed up body parts, but at the end of the day, we dont live forever, might as well be able to say, when you are on your death bed, that you made haste while the sun was shining
