    Thank you so much for this video. I'm currently studying for the NCE, and this is not my first time taking it. I decided to take control of my time this go round. Started waking up at 4am to get my morning started. I needed to prioritize my studying time, so that's what I do in the morning, plus working out before I head into work. I feel so productive and feel like it sets the tone for my day.

    Hi. Thanks for posting. I test soon and I'm nervous. I've been studying from the purple book but I don't feel like it's helping.

      Good luck on the test! I used the purple book too but I definitely found videos and practice tests to be the most helpful

    Great video! I just started, and hope to have all of my hours the spring of 2026. I want to grow professionally during supervision. I feel like two years is a long time to obtain LPC licensure.

    Yea I'm definitely a weekly-goals persons too! I had to really dig deeper into my goal setting and focus on WHY I want this. Changing my mindset and aura really helps too. Thanks for sharing this vid.

    I passed my NCE EXAM thanks to your three video! You outlined all of the material I saw today ( which for me was group and career heavy) but theory was also incorporated alot throughout. I loved the white board to help me follow along easier because I'm a visual learner too.

    I would like to know if you went through DBT training courses or just read books and research on it. I’m trying to learn DBT but there isn’t any training on it at my site, other than a book for reviewing

      The training I got was through a job I had, they wanted us to use DBT so they hosted on training for each of the modules, interventions and etc. They gave us the Marsha Linehans training manual but I also got a few workbooks off amazon. Idk if you've looked on PESI but they probably have some good trainings

    I love that you explained each theorist and gave examples. The books explain the same info. but you make it much more simplistic. I’m glad I found your videos. I will be taking the exam in about two weeks. Bless you!

    Im scheduled to take my exam at a Pearson Center on October 23rd, 2023. I graduate Dec 9th, 2023. I pray I pass! Im in the middle of completing Internship II & studying for the NCE. Im trying to get at least 5hrs of studying in every day. Im down to 28 days! How long do you study for leading up to the test? Meaning, do you study every day, every other day, and for how long if you dont mind me asking?

      I started studying about 5 months before the exam and studied a few hours probably 3-4 days out the week for the first few months then did another in depth review the week before
