Making techno with Arturia Drumbrute Impact and TC Electronic Flashback 2
I just got the Arturia Drumbrute Impact new and plugged the FM Drum out to the TC Electronic Flashback 2 Delay.
Only 2 Channels going into Ableton
1 - Mono Output of the Drumbrute Impact
2 - Stereo Output of the Flashback 2
Both Channels are sending audio to a single return channel in Ableton with Fabfilter Delay and Native Instruments Raum.
Check out my personal stuff here: linktr.ee/gonzaruman
Cheers!

Jeff Mills - Changes of Life (Recreated on the Roland TR8-S)
มุมมอง 23Kปีที่แล้ว
I just came across a piano sample on the Roland TR8-S and this track from The Wizard came to mind. I was having fun so I decided to record it for you in case you want to have fun, get inspired or check what you can do with the Roland TR8-S. Of course this is not trying to be an exact replica of the great classic by Jeff Mills, it's just a recreation for fun and to show the TR8-S capabilities. C...

Elektron Machinedrum - Make Noise øCoast - Roland TR8 - Kaleidoscope pedals Techno
มุมมอง 8653 ปีที่แล้ว
This is how I normally make tracks, with hardware or just ableton, but recorded in one take. Here I´m using a Make Noise øCoast sequenced by and routed into the Elektron Machinedrum sps-1 MKII which is going into the 2 Kaleidoskope pedals, and the Roland TR8 going directly to my soundcard as well as the pedals. Just 2 stereo inputs at the soundcard. Ableton live for recording, no plugins or eff...
Arturia Minibrute, Make Noise øCoast and 2 Kaleidoskope pedals
มุมมอง 2953 ปีที่แล้ว
The Arturia Minibrute is doing the main sequence coming from Ableton, the two Kaleidoscope pedals make the nice stereo reverb, they are mono, that´s why I use 2. The bassey drone is coming from the Make Noise ø Coast. Subscribe for more Follow me If you feel like!: linktr.ee/gonzaruman

Old school! Nice 😎
These two are a sonic match made in heaven! I thought about getting a monomachine to pair with my MD UW+ but so glad I just now picked my first Virus today (TI2) .. I think I missed the mono train anyway.
Nice jam :)
Nice. This is proper Electro, not this 'electro house' rubbish that calls itself Electro ....
Sounds amazing brother!
Jeff I wanna see you work the mc 707
I'm Not Sure If i would choose the Virus vor current Techno He has No ,,bite" at the end. LFO's are to slow and there ist No Sidechain possible. But hey, a wonderful machine!
Is that bassline from 1 of the ARP patterns on the Virus or did you create it ?
Just created on the machinedrum. Filled all steps with same note, changed couple of them, boom
This reminds me that I buy too much kit. My digitakt and my Ti2 should be enough for almost anything I want to do. (Not giving up my megaFM though 🤣🤣)
The less instruments the more complex the music I think, its the brain that makes the music, not the instruments
People call this type of techno more deep or authentic or something but it’s so boring. Like I go to a club to dance my butt off and hear otherworldly sounds. This sounds like the cereal factory in my city. 🤷🏻♂️cool aesthetic but doesn’t really move me. Idk it’s just so boring
It depends to venue I guess. Cuz when I listen this type of techno in Berghain or Bassiani etc. It's totally different from events in my city (Istanbul). Dj's creating atmhosphere with this type of techno. And also the audience and the soundsystem are really important. But, If you ask, I would listen more groovy songs at my home rather than this.
Great combo and techno! I plan to use my Virus TI2 with my Elektron Rytm MK2. Cannot afford a MachineDrum too expensive now.
Excellent...are you using the Ti mono or multi? I assume you control the Ti seq via the MD, right?
Machinedrum sequences various Ti channels on multi of course
Great version !! Remember the original 👏
10 k for tr 909 ??? No we have tr8s xD
Agreed. I had it’s sibling the 808. Sold it years ago. The TR8s is good enough.

well done !
belle maîtrise, bravo !
Thanks!!
Great.. Now I need a drum machine for my Snow lol
EMX 1 is superior.
Thank you for sharing the. Sounds amazing man. I’m have both these machines. Can you tell me how you have them wired and what the settings are for this setup?
Thanks man! Machinedrum is sending MIDI to Virus to trigger various different sounds. Percussion comes from MD.
@@TheRumanx thank you for the reply. What setting do I make on the machine drum? Do you have any other cable besides the midi going to the virus?
Wow beyond amazing! Love it!
Thanks man!
Yes dude liking this!
Nice. Not as dirty as the original but definitely nice!
man what a beautiful match, the elektron sampler and a virus ti synth this is some awesome analog techno right there
With two digital machines ;-)
Good
Sounds cool, warm. Better than the original (except the bassdrum).
can’t get enough of this tune
Sa fait plaisir bien reproduit, personnellement un filtre sur le break et sur la fin manque un peut mais se n'est que mon opinion. BRAVO.
Yesssss 🙌
I like this better than the original 😂
no way

Nice one
Bellissima jam 👍
Thanks man! :)
My kind of beat ✊✊✊
How do you conect the virus whit the drum machine? Thks
Just a simple MIDI cable. MD is just sending MIDI notes to the Virus
the delay is a great choice, and great drum programming
Thanks!!! :)
@@TheRumanx you're very welcome
Maybe use some compression on that kick drum but overall it is nice! 🎶
Sounds pretty cool abd fresh!
Wahouuuu!just discover you !When 2 beasts meet an artist :it gives good vibes ! Excellent jam mate! I read the other comment :will u be able to explain a bit more in detail (maybe a short video ..) how to set up the the Ti with the MD? I didn’t find any detailed video about it . Thanks !
Hey manIt?s very easy to do, simple midi note sending and recieiving in different channels, and the virus on multitimbral. Check the manual, have fun, and make your own mistakes. You will get more from that than if I explain it in a video :)
@@TheRumanx Thanks!
Excellent.
Awesome choice glad people are still appreciating Mills
As if Mills was some obscure artist that time forgot.
@@VuotoPneumaNN Before getting into techno he was completely unknown to me, as are most influential techno artists to the vast majority of people and even music fans
