2:26 grab handles look similar to Donner's Tech. If this is a perfect copy or even a genuine one then Donner offers luggage rack and side carriers (but it is not cheep).

I must admit, in my 35 years of having a wood stove I have never heard of using anything to seal the pipes. I can see the fire where the pipe fits into the top of the stove. Never had smoke come out of there.

Hi Martin. Check the front wheel doesn't have a high spot at the weld seam. I had a load of crap off Yamaha over mine. Also the front hub casting was off center and rim was not circular! The discs ran off center. Hub got replaced under warranty but they said no to the rim swap. The dealer in Exeter is useless. They gave me my wheel back with only 6 spokes done up! Running an SM Pro front wheel now. Quite a few folk on the forums talking about front end wobble. Most saying tyres but my problem was defo the rim. Two tyres in a row would not seat properly. No one else seems to be talking about this. Rear wheel is fine. Still loving my T7 despite this. Have fun!

Thanks for help, i have the problem, when looking at the brass tube with a torch shining up i could see as small vertical crack from manufacturing with a magnifying glass, so ive cleaned it and wiped some solder on it, and so far its looking good. Thanks for your investigation

Come across ypur video searching cat n write offs.. debsting weather or not to dip my toe in and buy a cat n 🤔 some of these cat ns have no damage on ,running with keys ,seems to good to be true so trying to do sum research first

if you use good quality pipe and fittings the joints are an interference fit and don't need fire cement.

Have to change the bearings in the upper front and had no idea how to start taking it apart. I just happened by luck to find this vdo and now I am ready to do the job! Since the price of having things done here in Norway is insane, I am doing everything myself and learning as I go. Its a 2005 and is a kind of hobby and it is fun to drive. I will have your vdo's at hand if there is anything I need to know! Thanks!! 😄😄

If you have to put that Crap on your stove pipe you are not burning correctly.

Omg remove the blank at the bottom and chip comes out with small screw driver and aided with magnifying glass to identify seams😢

My Dec 2023 / 850 mile Hym411 had same, marginal battery, notable voltage drop and slow return to max voltage. Fitted an Exide 9A battery, clearly 0.8 -1V more, BUT now occasionally does same but engine management comes on. It can be cleared after 4 more re-starts. Has been REnfield collected and taken to dealer - they agree with fault advise all electrics ok, say fault is marginal battery, needs overnight top 8ps. New battery was not used . This RE to dealer advise no fault found - except failed brake switch. So what is tye point of warranty. Cost to me £84 - WARRANTY? I collect bike tomorrow

why do Heitas say you need a flue extender in order to take the flue apart going into the burner and access the inside of the pipe?...so on your setup you would need a telescopic flue extension at the burner and a bracket above so that when the pipe is taken apart for cleaning it all stands as is and you can clean it out.

Happened to me, I just cut the rest of the key off and added to the new keys ring as a fob and it worked.

Was it throwing up an engine warning light when it struggled to start? I got low voltage injector 1 fault code on my scanner, on start up, then replaced battery and fault has gone. I have fitted the tec cam so its lost the decompression cam which adds more strain when starting so needs decent battery.

Smokes a little. I got my first XT about 6 weeks ago. After sitting alone in a chicken coop in west Texas for 4yrs., it took a little wire repair and carb cleaning, along with 10 or so kicks, to start up. (Good thing it has electronic ignition) Once it did, it smoked just a bit for only a few seconds, idled and ran good. Bike looks like hell but with a little carb tuning and good gas, it runs like a bat outta hell. Got my second XT three weeks ago. Haven't gotten it running yet, but do look forward to it. This bike is a 1978 with points ignition and it's in pretty good original shape, despite sitting in the open in the desert for 12 years.
