How to change the Perspektive?
You can't achieve such animations in-game, I made it using SFM. However, in-game, you can achieve similar results using 'tf_first_person_uses_world_models' and 'cl_first_person_taunts' commands in the developer console.

Lag actually can often make it harder to get a trick stab for the same reason. You might lag for a second then get fragged by the enemy without knowing what happens. This also would make the kunai and big earner completely obsolete which removes a majority of spy players. I don't know if you're a spy player or not but this does nothing but make the class obsolete.

Spy should use his revolver in situations where he gets caught, not the Source engine's weirdness.

Yeah but the taunt is. From game release it was a secondary taunt. And it is triggered by shortstop So, there's nothing wrong in that title
It uses the taunt too, probably because the shortstop used to share its ammo reserve with scout's pistols

It'd be pretty neat if there was a toggle in settings for first-person taunts, and the taunt animations were adjusted a bit to be optimized for that when the toggle is enabled.

No, It's not a mistake that demoman can see just fine despite only having one eye - he's constantly drunk, so he's seeing double, which restores his vision
