    Greetings ma'am What is the difference between a ruled-based and a manual-based approach separately, please?

    • @learningBIMonline
      @learningBIMonline 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Rule base follows a certain layout rule. Manual can be customized to dimensions that you need for your design that cannot be achieved through a standard rule.

    HOW DE WE CALCULATE THE CARPET AREA IF WE NEED TO FIND ??

    • @learningBIMonline
      @learningBIMonline หลายเดือนก่อน

      create a rentable area plan and if you need, you can create area boundaries manually to make deductions if any. Alternatively you can also take a total area of all rooms. depends on what is your method for calculating carpet area.

    Greetings ma'am Can you explain in easy way the function of these numbers in the brackets from 2:23, please?

    • @learningBIMonline
      @learningBIMonline หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are priorities based on which two walls/elements would join each other. structure (1) layer of wall A is joining with substrate (2) layer of wall B, then revit will cut the substrate and let structure pass through. so, the numbers indicate what is the priority of that layer when joining with other elements.

    This is great! Question, what if we want the ‘N’ to rotate with the north arrow geometry so that if, say the north arrow is pointing down, then the N is upside down as well and doesn’t ‘stay readable’ (I already tried making the N text in its annotation family set to not keep text readable). I have also tried putting more reference planes in to try to keep the N aligned with the rotation of the geometry, but it always breaks. Wondering if anyone else has figured this out. I am trying to keep it a small symbol, and if I just use a filled region mimicking the N, the lines get too small for annotation family to handle (under 1/32) and I don’t like how big I have to make it in order to make the N a filled region. Wondering if there is some sort of aligning or reference line making trick I can’t think of. Awesome video though! Very well explained-it certainly helped me understand the mechanics of it.

    • @learningBIMonline

      I am not sure if that is possible to do within Revit. Perhaps, one of Revit's tool to put in the wishlist.
