Alleen al de studio 100 musicals😍
I need to know what musical the clip at 12:34 is from!!!🤩❤🔥
@@Lily-j4k7d it's from the Italian production of Romeo and Juliet from hate to love. It's iconic lmao
4:12 which musical is this?
Magdalena from the Singing Factory
yes, yes yes, to all of them but also- we NEED part II <3
And then the moving seats during some of these musical such as Daens, Red Star Line ❤
Beautiful vid, altho one thing I would like to point out is that wa also have lot's of translated or adapted productions like the ones by Deepbridge, and those are also amazig (especially with Stanny Crets as producer)
@@Seppl_Tandtijger I actually did put a deep bridge clip in here :). Since it's about musicals made in Belgium I couldn't really put their other productions in this 'cus they're made in America for example. I do know they have a few selfmade productions but I didn't see them all' cus they're mainly for kids. I do freaking love them cus without them I would have a sad life with to little international musicals haha
@@belgian.musicals I see, I'd argue that most of their productions are unique tho as the have little in common with the original (especially the fairytales), but I totally get your point! (btw, have u seen Florence Foster Jenkins with Jeremy and Koen Crucke)?
@@Seppl_Tandtijger no and I find it so sad 'cus I really wanted to see Jeremie in it
@@belgian.musicals He was fabulously queer coded lol, and Koen was amazing as always
@@Seppl_Tandtijger haha Koen is an icon
Hello! Which musical is the clip that starts at 4:12 from? It sounds good, and I'd love to see more of it!
@@azelmamortlake4471 it's magdalena en it's from the singing factory
Nu wil ik alles opnieuw zien!
3:15 howly shit lost memory unlocked rn!
Live laugh love Pia Douwes
6:45 is one of those songs that no one like actually purposely have in their playlist but all belgians know from the deep of their hart
I was actually an extra in the musical Zoo Of Life.
oeh I'm jealous that was such a good musical. It must have been a lot of fun to participate in!
@@belgian.musicals An extensive rehearsal period, but so rewarding once you start to play.
Wow! I'm from Wallonie, and I didnt knew we had so good musical in our country! I've only ever watched french musical, but I will definitely try to watch these one day! Thanks for this video :)
I think it's so sad that we aren't really aware of each others productions even though we are the same country. It would be so nice if we had some exchange if you know what I mean. It would be better for the musical industry in our country after all ig...
Here, I fixed the title for you: 'Why I Love Flemish Musicals' Nice edit btw😉
Studio 100 makes the best belgium musicals
I acted in multiple of these!! So amazing that they get the appreciation they deserve bc there's so much work put into these beautiful pieces of art!
Hey @belgian musicals my name is Daan and I am/was a performer in de ridders van de ronde keukentafel, keketnet musical, 40-45, Daens, redstarline and 14-18 far the second time andcilove to stee how big of a fan you are of the belgian musicals do maya we can make a video tougether
Abt Mate, I love his performance as Der Tod, because everyone else (Uwe, Mark, Martin, Oli) all go for more like ethereal and seductive. All put in a lot of effort to be graceful and very out of this world. Mate just goes WILD. Constantly growling, snarling at everyone, seduction turned up to 1000, he also moves kind of in fast bursts which makes him seem a little erratic. He still has that grace and the ethereal vibes, also he straight up looks like a disney prince😂, but like a little bit feral.
oooohhh i remember the sunjata story! i never actually saw the musical, but i had this little book which came with 2 CD's. i listened to them all the time! the book was even signed by pieter embrechts! unfortunatly i lost the book but the cd's should be around somewhere
@@bordocklius6238 I also have the cd's and book. We bought it after the show I think. It's such a lovely story
@@belgian.musicals think it would be possible to upload the CD's :p?
What's the name for the last song?

Gosh, i hammer my language a lot (from the netherlands) but it can still be so nice, i realized that when i watched soldaat van oranje, INCREDIBLE musical, and i wish could've seen some of these too, they seem amazing! As a kid i remember being obsessed with the K3 biggetjes musical, but moreso with the het huis anubis musicals, spooktheater and such were my childhood!
i recently went to the 3 biggetjes reboot, its still AMAZING
Soldaat is iconic
ff mededeling ma da jongentje in 1:11 die daar dood gaat, that's me!
Er is een zombie in ons midden
I am from Belgium and I LOVE musicals yet I have never seen any of them live. (Aside from K3 en de 3 biggetjes)
You should really go see 14-18 right now! It's sooo worth it
I went to watch daens and i cried so much, it was really beautifull
This just unlocked a core memory with 14-18, the part where they march into battle and one by one people get 'shot down' until only the main characters remain and one takes a bullet for the other. That was so impressive to see, especially because with the moving stands they walk right towards you. It gives me chills even now... Also, the song 'doe maar' is so extremely good, and again with the moving stands now circling around them it gives so much extra tension to the scene. It's amazing!
Damn childhood memory unlocked met sunjata
Sunjata is zot goe
Where did you find the English 14-18? I've been trying to find it since the Revival this year, but haven't been able to yet
There are some small clips but I don't have a whole proshot
When I first saw 14-18, I was really bummed that I missed the chance to be "part of it" (despite not being that into musicals at that point). 10 years and having been in 40-45, Daens and now the 14-18 revival, glad I did get the chance to be part of it all!
Thank you so much for translating and subtitling these, I hadn't heard of any of these musicals before this and your European musicals vid and I now need to see them all!
The musical from the first clip is actually free to watch on TH-cam, but I don't think it's subtitled. In case you are interested it's called K3 Alice in Wonderland

Amai.
doornroosje (sleeping beauty) is the BEST
never forgiving them for naming the sea witch anemone in The Little Mermaid btw
I cry everytime I hear even a glimpse of a song from 1418
It has such beautiful songs
Spektakel Musicals my beloved
same, same :)
thank you, thank you!!! i was literally gonna ask what musicals these clips were from and you already handed me a handy list in the description <3 have a very very good day!
Yonderland is so underrated.
Thanks for including some Korean casts. Have you seen any other Korean or other Asian productions (I recommend Mozart! and Mozart L’Opera Rock in Japanese, and of course Elisabeth), or Asian musicals (I recommend Frankenstein, Isabeau, Cross Road, Smoke)?
I've seen a lot of Asian productions but not a lot of Asian musicals so thank you for the recommendation!
7:14 one of my favourite things ever.
Just wanna ask.... What is the second musical that was shown? It looked SOOO damn COOOL I wanna watch it.
It's a flemish musical called 40-45 from Studio 100. It's about 2 brothers in WW2. There is a dvd available but I don't think that there are subtitles.
