Wow! Barefoot and Taurus really got some hate going on there. Thank you for posting this! I live in Chicago and frequented the Rosemont Horizon. Being lucky enough as a kid going to see alot of the tractor pull mud bog and monster truck shows held back then. I always found the USHRA more "real" and more entertaining than Monster Jam. As it's known today the Allstate Arena / Rosemont Horizon is much too small to host these events any more due to the air and power of the vehicles running in Monster Jam

lmao I played this game so much in my life and didn't realize until I moved to Australia and then came back to the US that I had been to its setting since the game takes place on the islands next to Australia.

That one room with the full body of deep water, was the worst trolling from the devs. Someone must have been pissed that day that room was created...

It's no wonder that Taurus served as the basis for all the meents trucks, putting down a lap in 1990 that would be competitive a decade later on a track with the same layout.

It's interesting watching it now and noticing how obvious it is that the commentary is done after the fact and that they know what happens. Especially when they randomly mention the mudbog track record right before someone almost breaks it. I don't think I noticed stuff like that when I watched these when I was young.

In my eyes Bigfoot never passed Thumper. I could not tell where the finish line was but at no point was Foot in front. I think they called it to prevent Thumper from fogging up the place again or just because it was Bigfoot. As for fogging, Bigfoot did that himself.

They seriously dqd Bearfoot because he cleared the cars lmao? No wonder Shaffer told them to fuck off a few years later. He literally hit the ramp with his tires and cleared it yet they dq him anyways. How stupid. The USHRA officials were absolutely terrible

Gary Porter is and always will be the most overrated monster truck driver of all time. He was always slower than a tortoise. Even when he lucked into a Grave Digger ride he was literally the slowest, mopiest drivers. Sure, seeing Grave Digger is cool and all but once you found out which driver it was one hell of a let down. The guy never won anything

Incredible beautiful, and incredible unreliable, monster trucks! Bigfoot was an exception, ruling the sport since the beginning. Nice tanks and pullers too. Thanks for sharing this stuff.

None of these guys were even close to Bigfoot 8 yet, which was already almost 2 years old in 1991. They're all bouncing around and theres Bigfoot with 2 1/2 feet of suspension travel!
