@@ghastlyanarchy1720 you can spam the uncharged cast pretty quickly and if you get him side on you're hitting for 4-6 strikes which still is a large amount of damage, even more if it's charged which honestly the charge isn't too bad if you wait for the right window, you can even throw out a summon to keep him occupied while you cast it or you can work it into stagger Crits, as soon as he's down use a full charge that's most likely going to hit harder than any critical strike will with all the talisman buffs you can use now to boost incantation and lighting damage
@@chrisread6292 well I'll bare that in mind for my next run of it. I already beat the dlc in full on ng+5 and going to go through the base game with the new weapons and other such stuff on ng+6 and then go back to the shadow realm. Maybe I'll give that spell a shot against him, it is a favorite of mine.

I used the Mimic Tear with Pest Thread Spears and Knight’s Lightning Spear on 70 Faith build to beat this guy.

I buff at the start with cragblade, then yes just charged heavy attacks
Cragblade makes your weapon deal much more poise damage when paid with charged heavy attacks, iron balls deal, arguably, the most poise damage because of how fast the charge attack comes out. And giving it the cold affinity to proc frost bite will make the enemy slower so even easier to land the hits without much worry.
And now this boss got easier cause we now KNOW he can be staggered. I love vids like these, whenever a boss is shown to he parriable or staggered, the stress goes down

@@drexalte69 tbh I truly cant say. A few bosses I fought never got staggered despite me keeping the pressure up and usimg weapons that deal high poise damage
@@hidan407 Yes I think literally every boss and maybe even enemy I can think of can be staggered. For me to trigger certain bosses I need the charge attack talisman and the physic that makes stance breaking more easy, and of course I gotta do fully charged attacks.

How did you get that armor and what is your build
You get it from an npc invasion next to a church in the area after beating Rellana. The build is shown at the end. Cold star fists. Heavy attacks. Cracked tear physic
@@mass976I am experienced soul gamer and i can say that he is the hardest boss i have ever faced. I gave up today😂. Such a bs boss.
@@issi529yeah I was struggling a lot with the ancient meteoric ore greatsword. Swapped to star fists and got it done in a few tries. Try farming scadutree fragments and come back to it

A good showcase, an actual fight would go better due to use of special grindstones and an actual legion arm. Takes a lot of skill to beat Nameless Puppet without either of those. Definitely a good weapon, and great skills too
That’s about as good as I can hope for. I was stuck on him for 2 hours yesterday. I have advance build and using same weapon. The only thing that I am planning to try to do is use the Aegis sheild, since I can’t use any other one, and hopefully that saves me in phase 2. Idk

try using fulminus legion arm and adding points to vigor, advance and motivity.
Hi, dont blame urself for not taking him down in 2 hr or 2 weeks. Keep calm and try to check the movements. Everything you cant pary, but if you can't pary, dodge is there. And if you learn the moves, you can pary ez. So, take rest try next day, you will see improvements 🤠

How are you consistently stance breaking him in the second phase? Even with the mixed physic that increases this I can't stance break him at all.

Your favorite friend with these guys is fire!! I used magma sling with flame, give me strength and melted there poise super quick!
Also if you just use your summon and start running in circles constantly then attack with fire run around the arena again till far enough away to set up your attack, these dudes are really slow keep your distance until there’s an opening then close in.
I just found out about this skip, and they fucking patch it right away... now I HAVE to drag my ass through shitstorm of a town... thanks Fromsoft
