That is what I thought aswell but the two paired launchers burned out at exactly the same rate as the launcher that stands alone and I even made the test multiple times on different ships and different circumstances; all the launchers or turrets burned at exactly the same rate when being grouped. But I also have footage of 2 launchers being burned out and one not being burned out from 3 years ago so I think they did change it but of course I might be wrong. 🙂

@@FrigatesOnFire Ah, ok! I thought that was it since in this video I just saw two launchers set at the edge of the rack. Now I'm probably gonna log in and run some tests myself.

Thanks bro, its always great to meet people that actually stick arround until the last second. In frigate fights you never know if you win or lose until the very end because everything happends so quickly. You have to stay til the very last moment to get the best fights.

I am glad the commentary is helpful. For a new player both the slasher and condor are not the best choice because they are quite limited on dps and fitting resources so it is not the ship I would suggest. The merlin and incursus on the other hand are easier to use and have less fitting limitations, same with the punisher. I am planning to create a new character in the next weeks to make videos on how to find and win fights as a new/alpha pilot but of course that will take some time to set up. Please do not give up and keep going! You will learn and skill more over time and your success rate will go up. 🙂 If you like we can meet ingame for some test and practice fights, you can mail my char "Tian Zaharin" and I can show you some tricks.

Interesting idea, thank you for the fit, I will consider it. Snakes are not my style but thanks anyway. I usually like ships with more rangecontrol but maybe I will give this rifter a go.

@@FrigatesOnFire yeah, range control is nice - but it's not everything if you work around it. Mostly its a fun fit for when you get bored of flying the same old fits everyones been using for the past decade.

The thing with the outer and inner slots is really something niche but also quite usefull when you know about it 🙂

hi, There are a few support skills you might be missing, first of all, the higher you have the "Gallente Frigate" skill the better. Here is a list of other skills you can push up a bit, I would suggest at least lvl 3: "Gunnery", "Rapid Firing", "Surgical Strike" and "Small Blaster Specialization". I also suggest other support skill that are not focused on DPS Like "Motion Prediction", "Sharpshooter", "Controlled Bursts" and "Trajectory Analysis". All those skills should get you to about 200 dps with more range and more cap. I hope this answered the question but if you have more questions please let me know 🙂

Punisher actually don't have any DPS bonus, only a cap consumption bonus

it is not very common but for ships like the punisher without damage bonus it is a valid thing to do as @bifibloust2240 said. I also like to fly an autocannon Crucifier with tracking disruptor wich is super strong and fun aswell! I have videos on both of those if you wanna check them out 🙂

Thanks mate, much appreciated! I agree that ECM drones are viable and a really nice thing to use on a Griffin navy or on cruisers and up to have the chance to escape when someone is trying to blob you. Still I think that in a frigate fight where you wont lose much it is a bit of a coward move, but of course that is just my opinion. 🙂
