Seth is well known to be petty like the time he responded to a minor jab the Simpson throw in which they show Peter and Stan in a book for wanting criminals with peter wanted for plagiarism and stan for plagiarism of plagiarism, that’s it, just a regular photo and the plagiarism “crime”, what was Seth’s response? He had quagmire r*pe marge then marge getting into it inviting him to her house to fullblown cheat on homer, having homer discover them, and quagmire killing the whole family in a panic. Cherry on top was that when the studio didn’t let him use the scene for obvious reasons, he claimed the reason they didn’t let him use it was because they were playing favorites as they let the Simpsons get away with mocking them and not him, not because his “joke” was in incredible bad taste.

This is the equivalent of Eminem making fun of you in a song…. You take it light hearted show respect and move on….. South Park being Eminem family guy being….. everyone else

Its hilarious how salty the family guy writers are that they don't have an emmy. They literally did a whole episode where they make fun of emmy winning shows and the shows they parody include the sopranos and breaking bad. The season 16 (one of the worst seasons) family guy writers think they are on the same level as the writers for the sopranos and breaking bad.

I like the absolute difference in maturity between these the creators of these two shows. On one hand, you have Matt and Trey, who are just bitter and miserable, making essentially an entire special bashing on Family Guy out of jealousy and spite with no good satire reason or message of doing so, essentially using Cartman as their messanger. (Say what you will about the "quality" and "writing" of both shows, but they aren't comparable on a linear spectrum. They have a huge difference in the way things are handled. Look at any interviews with the two regarding their stance on Family Guy, its just petty and lowkey pathetic, and they did what they did with malicious intent). Then you have Seth, who was more concerned about the message implied about the writers than anything else. He could've retaliated with his own episode but didn’t bother wasting the resources on what was essentially one-sided beef (and because a Family Guy episode objectively takes more time to make). Seth is literally just concerned with making a funny show. If Matt and Trey truly wanted to criticise the show, this was the worst way to do it. They've lowkey turned an entire group of people against Family Guy simply for it's unique creative direction that they don't seem to understand. I'd bet money a few cutaways probably take more effort than an entire episode of South Park, considering how quickly they're pumped out.

Do we actually know how Matt and Trey feel about Seth personally? I know they don't care for Family Guy but I can't really find anything about any actual beef between them and Seth.

Guys, the creators are friends. It's all a joke. Don't take it too serious.

1:07 Seth McFarland was so offended by this one he put a "gag" of Quagmire r*ping Marge, Marge liking it, and then Quagmire killing the entire family. Seth somehow thought these were the same and thought it was hypocritical FOX didn't like it for obvious reason.

1:09 it’s funny he says this yet Family guys background and even main animation of a character is extremely lackluster and uneventful to build on budget. (Edit: even in that scene you can see all the background characters remain extremely still and lack emotion, AND Peter’s animations are extremely still.
