The Purpose Of Trauma
Trauma is very simple, though we often overcomplicate it. We adapt to survive. We condition ourselves for survival. And sometimes we have to survive and adapt to things we can't yet deal with, mentally and emotionally. But as we mature we can. Overcoming Trauma means recognizing the ways in which we've been conditioned. In recognizing the conditioning we are free from it.

Istp here I have always got along with ENTJ as coworkers, bosses, colleagues. Like how you described for; the conversations, doing tasks, games, eating etc. are stuff I relate to. But I have always hated them as teachers, instructors, examiners, gatekeepers, interviewers. (and they don't like me either.)

As an INFJ, I tend to attract a lot of ENTJs and I am attracted to them as well. I usually enjoy the friendship as our conversations are killer when we are connected mentally. However, I have a hard time opening up to an ENTJ man who was "interested" in me because he would dismiss my feelings and actually make fun of me when I'd express a serious concern. It was very one-sided as when he talked about his problems, I would let him open up with no judgement or pretense however when it came to me, he'd be on his phone scrolling and not actually engage with me. I have no patience for that and decided to walk away from the relationship before it even started. It could be that the woman you were with probably felt unsafe. Us INFJs usually know if a future is doomed with a person or not due to our dominant Ni. She probably started letting go before you could even see it. Overall though, great video and I appreciate you sharing your personal experience with us, I hope you find love again soon if you have not :)

hi, ENFP here in a new relationship with an ENTJ. I test as a very typical ENFP. However, i think contrary to what you said, i am very analytical. The difference though is that I like analysing things because it gives me satisfaction and a sense of security to have examined a problem from all possible angles and connected all the dots, examined possible outcomes ect... My ENTJ will notice this and see it as me merely wasting a bunch of time time for nothing, and push me to take action immediately rather than wasting time in the ether pondering how this issue might be connected to the deeper meaning of life (very fixated on efficiency, which might be good for me cos i also have ADHD and can be quite all over the place). He is very confident in himself and his decision making process. I dont think he has had time to see that there is always a method to my madness when I research things extremely thoroughly and make decisions. I sometimes feel like he might get a bit dismissive with me and think he knows whats best on a topic i have done more research on for example. But its early days and we are still feeling things out and getting to know each other. For the most part he motivates and inspires me and I know we will not become stagnant together. I had another 9 year relationship with an ISFJ and that ended in stagnancy. But this relationship by contrast feels very goal, future and progress oriented. Its what I wanted and i manifested it... but now it feels like a bit of pressure too.

Longing/yearning sparks imagination. We must look at the centers of imagination: hypothalamus and the thalamus. Now the hypothalamus ventromedial hypothalamus, would be a great path to consider as mate selection because of the infundibuler and the pituitory gland; so far the hypothalamus, but the thalamus regulates sexual appetite and the thalamus is very much right next to the neocortex which stores long term memory (even muscle has memory but the neocortex should be considered you're long term). But anyway, the phallic marital aid, was invented before the wheel. You can figure out what i am going on about.

<-INTJ. One of my best friends is an ENTJ. He tends to lead most of the time, but when things get hairy and he needs me to grab the wheel, I will steer us through the storm, literally, and get us out the other side. We both have our areas of expertise, and respect the other's though there is often a little friendly competition behind the scenes, though more like a nipping at each others' heals to help each other be our best. One thing he did have to learn though, is that I do not obey, I cooperate as it suits me to do so. I don't tell him what to do either, except as advice, or if I'm saving his life. He is an Alpha, I am a Sigma. Nobody else gets a pass, they all call him boss man. I call him "brother". I have another very close friend who is an INFJ, and while there are similarities in some places, in others the dynamics are completely different. I cherish both friendships, and will fight to the death to protect either, as would they.

My best friend is an entj. I am infp. Everything you said I kept nodding. Have to say this has to be least toxic relationship in my life just on the sheer fact I can speak my mind around her and she won't get offended. Not to mention she is true to her word. Entj may not deliver always, because they figured they overestimated themselves, but if they communicate this I won't be upset for long and will learn to accept it and let go. We have a lot of common interests and I love her. Entj are true to their words which can't be said for other type. For example istp, estp or esfp. They have integrity. I am grateful for her. So guess I went into the gushing side of an infp lol. Yeah, she is probably best person in my life.

Hm This is the first instance where I’ve seen you say or do anything that doesn’t ring true with Entj - it’s not like us to give deference to highly regarded (established) professionals in a field over our own analysis thus far Then again… you sound very ardent about it… fixed and grounded.. which doesn’t square with isfp IP types are often the most indecisive and skeptical and they get mixed results every time they test. If they had to make a hard pivot like that I think they’d marinate in it for a while and wouldn’t be so resolute. As an ENTJ however, I can make a hard pivot on a dime with no shame and I make decisions quick enough to cause an anxiety attack to an IP around me. An ENTJ drastic conclusion jump sounds like what you’ve done here, but hey

As an ENFP I disagree with our disability to analyze, we have Te as our third function, which means its still a pretty strong function. I feel like what you’re talking about is that ENFP’s like to discuss ideas in a non-competitive way, while ENTJ’s actually really enjoy a form of competition. As an example, for me personally, I really enjoy battling out two different ideas that seem contradictory to each other, and see which one of these concepts come out as “most plausible” (simply said). What I don’t enjoy is when one person represents one idea and the other represents the other idea. Then it feels like we’re not seeking the truth, but battling each other, having to compete our intelligence against each other where there is one “winner” and one “loser”. While, when you separate the people from the concepts, and instead of battling each other, you look at a distance, analyze the different ideas and let the ideas battle each other (instead of the people), it feels more as if we’re on a journey of truth together, instead of having a competition. This is actually what I really enjoy to do with myself. Having two different perspectives in my head, and each perspective analyzes and criticizes the other. Ofcourse, this is from the perspective of 1 ENFP, which means my opinion is not completely objective, this is just what I feel is most true for me personally.

Regarding analytical or deep conversations, I think that when they talk to you, they tend to focus on what you tell them and take the conversation that way. Depending From the environment in which he finds himself, he shows a greater interest in the topic than in the people around him and it is easier for him to speak naturally about a topic, going deeper into it. Sometimes they do not know much about a topic that is talked to them, but they can relate well the ideas that are given to them and also talk about it without knowing much.

My mom is an entj and she's the definition of style. But she says it took her time and my dad who i suspect, was an enfp to really help elevate her whole look. I don't agree about the analytical/combatitiveness nessicarily maybe because I was raised by an entj. I love analyzing things having debates and researching but I don't feel the need to always prove I'm right. I can comfortably remain silent if the other person is getting emotional or needs to win unless I feel it's serious enough that the truth needs to be said otherwise I can just listen. I admire entjs work ethic, loyalty, dedication, drive and need for the truth. Def agree about the need to be more aware of others emotions. But I also think they're more emotional than others give them credit for, they just don't live in emotion like f types. A lot less combative than infjs for sure. Probably my personal favorite type.

As an INTJ just now coming across your channel, I didn’t think much at first due to the background, but what drew me in is your confidence in the very first frame. Kinda sexy. I’ll come back…👀🤔😊

Intj female, and I realized that an entj is going to be what I need for a long-term partner. I just don't seem fulfilled by other types.

When you feel hurt by another person it's because you take what they've done personally, and believe it is about you. The way someone treats you is a reflection of how they are seeing the situation, and the beliefs and attitudes they carry with them. Once you see that, you can disregard and distance yourself from rude behavior as easily as you would a fly buzzing around your face. Do you feel hurt by the fly? Of course not, it's a fly.

@@ENTJ_Perspective i gree, i have my own way to not talking things personally but i am talking about saying stuff like : you are stupid or talking loudly with anger or saying relly bad stuff that would hurt anyone even nt person, i want pepole to judge acts not pepole so we relly emprove our life. Sorry if i didnt talk fluntly i dont have that much time now, i will watch your chanel so i understand the entjs more.

If someone calls you stupid and it hurts you, it's because of what you believe about the situation. If an angry toddler called you stupid would it hurt you? Probably not. Why then might it hurt you when someone close to you says it? It's because of what it means to you.@@Duck-fy6xn

@@ENTJ_Perspective I understand your idea that we don't have to take things personally, but I want to differentiate between constructive criticism and destructive criticism. There are some people who take criticism as a way to insult and mock others.
