I’m Bri and I’ve been surfing for 3 years now!🏄🏼♀️
MY SURFING JOURNEY:
My dad grew up surfing in Galveston, Texas which is where he originally taught me the basics of surfing as a kid. When I got into college, we moved to California, and that's when I became serious about surfing (better waves).
I currently live and surf in California, this is where I say I "formally" learned to surf.
My first board was a wavestorm, and now I am riding a 6'10 short/mid length board.
MY CONTENT:
I'll be sharing my surfing journey, as well as providing tips and advice to my fellow surfer pals!

Summer in Lake Tahoe 2024 - Sand Harbor & Zephyr Cove
Family Roadtrip to Lake Tahoe! We went to Zephyr Cove & Sand Harbor.
Sand Harbor was by far my favorite place- but you definitely need to arrive no later than 9 Am if you want to get in the park- yes that includes on weekdays as well. Also- there are NO DRONES allowed at Sand Harbor- they are VERY strict about that!

that's great advice! i just skated my surfskate for the 1st time today and after a while i realized this 😅 but i find it really hard to pump and even when i push for the first time because the nose wiggles a lot and i lose my balance... would anyone have advice on this struggle? could it be the tracks or am i just doing something wrong?

I would definitely get a consignment board or secondhand one from Facebook marketplace or craigslist! Used boards are the best especially when you are first starting.

I am 32 I have done my first year i can pop up snd go little bit side ways its very difficult for me to maneuver i am slowly losing hope i really like surfing i dont want to . But my trainer feels ashamed to tell others i am his student 🥲 i hate my life after long life struggles i started this sport or art now its fking depressing Do you think i can learn 😭
I think the problem is your trainer! Go to someone else or just start going by yourself and practicing as much as you can. I taught my friend to surf at age 38!! You can do it !!
