These types of bastard ruin a traveller's mood. I remember when my family went to Manali and the two dudes there who are " Tourist guide" charged us 9,000 to have fun rides in solang valley. Me and my brother were furious ,after a ride we loved we asked for another ticket from the man who's controlling the ride. He said 500 for each so that's 1,000 for both but these tourist guys scammed us. We had a total of 5 rides , which means it'll cost only 5k at real rate. They scammed 4k extra from us , and the taxi charge was seperate and was charged 3k , seriously? I noticed the guider's face go numb as soon as we asked the man in charge for extra ticket that's when we knew we were scammed

Someone you know can be held accountable at their jobs should they scam you. And if you live in India don't visit the local markets cause it's rare to meet honest traders. When I do I reward them.
