NDI and for Internet can be separated because the mini director only has one lan/udp port

Another question..hoping for responses to both - with bringing in other sources, I want to bring in my cohosts from the US, as I'm in Canada, usually we use Zoom, but what would be the best way to bring them in as sources to the Mini from the internet?

Dreaming of the "12 inch director pro sdi" all the time, when i look at my setup is the only thing that holds me back from purchasing the mini for a year now. But there is this voice telling me now and then that" i could make it work..." Boy is it close but to justify a purchase i would need more of an "all in one". Less a core that somewhat needs a monitor and a seperat switcher, a few sdi-hdmi converter and all the other wired-dangling stuff. needing extra power... Not exactly a backpacksetup any long. I might do something wrong though 🤔🤖

Magewell USB Capture SDI plus can record 4:4:4 video to computer ?

Question about bonding and streaming - if you're out at a hockey rink, and streaming through cellular hotspot and bond it with rink wifi...what actually sends the stream out? Does the Mini itself have big antennas in it to send out the stream or does it redirect the new bonded signal back through your cellular hotspot? Can a phone's hotspot handle the higher speed bonded signal? Can you include more than one cellphone to bond with?

Are there audio vs video latency issues with the USB-out when using MDM as a webcam? This is still an issue with Yolobox Pro for instance. The video is ahead of the audio and can't be adjusted.

Solid alternative to yolo. I see why your not tied into them anymore, good for you. Question where is the LTE or is this only achieved via a USB Dongle and not built-in? And does this support 5G network Is the WiFi 6e or 5G only God speed

I was able to find one on ebay for $600 from a guy that bought every switcher known to man so he could have a hands on trial (he still has atem products). He sold his DM because it didn't have 4 hdmi inputs. Anyway... Question: how many different live shows can I broadcast at one time to different urls? I'm trying to create a niche industry player with 5 channels (US Quail TV) for our co-op members. I want to have a live channel out as channel 1 And buttons on the player url for the other channels (a TH-cam educational playlist, a featured members loop, a second live broadcast from a 2nd smtp source. I want to make it like you are changing the channels on a retro Tv frame overlay on the player. I'm wondering if I can use the DM in such a way that the viewer can select the show they want (even if it's not live). There's probably a better way, but this feels easy

Question: Can I send an rtmp or srt feed remotely from a director mini directly into OBS running on a pc with a wired internet connection with out a hardware decoder? The director mini would have an internet connection also, I would paste the url from the mini into OBS. Thanks for any advice

There are 2 computers in this setup, gaming and streaming computers. When Magewell is referring to the computer graphics card, and configuring the EDID, do they mean to do it to the gaming computer? if that's the case, how am I able to achieve the same thing (passthrough 1440p 144Hz monitor) with a console instead of a gaming PC?

Then I purchased and installed Pro Capture Quad HDMI on my pc and using Magewell Capture Express to show the input of capture express but it only support upto 1920x1080 resolution, please help me 1.- To setup it to support max resolution 2.- How to upgrade firmware of card 3.- How to load edid file to capture card thanks in advance

So, I've set this up twice, and I should have don a video. Since then, I was in the Caldor fire, and had to abandon my home and disconnect all the stuff. I run two monitors using roland video switcher V-1HD. I have forgotten how to incorporate the magewell, I have the 32060 hdmi. So, I have the two pcs as input 1 and 2. I have the left monitor "previewing" and the right output. So, I want to record the screen and I have a the magewell, but darned if I can remember the connection. I know I had also an hdmi switch (prozor) 3 in 1 out" box, and maybe that is part of the hookup, I can't remember. The last time it just came to me and all was well. I plugged the magewell into the usb, and it installed it, but then I'm lost. Any help would be appreciated.

This would be a great way to enable connecting the Ultra Stream to wifi when wired ethernet is not available. But at least the three Ultra Streams we have (with up to date firmware) cannot connect to a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra+ with the up to date Ultra Stream app via just Bluetooth - both Bluetooth and wifi (with the Ultra Stream as an access point) are required. This prevents the ability to configure wifi streaming
