Angel Judo
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 25 ธ.ค. 2013
My name is Angel and I started training Judo a bit after the COVID quarantine ended. I've been training on and off due to being a full time student, however, since graduating in 2023 I've been training on a consistent basis.
Join me on this journey to becoming a black belt as well as reaching my competitive peak. My goal along the way is to create content that not only helps people improve but to also create engagement with others to collectively improve.

My FINAL Judo Competition as a White Belt
มุมมอง 14K11 หลายเดือนก่อน
Once again I'd like to thank everyone for the support, I plan on being more active with competing and posting these types of videos as well as breaking them down. This was my last competition as a white belt over the summer, i've just procrastinated the upload for some time now. I do plan on doing a breakdown video of this competition in hopes that it either helps anyone elses game or allows me...
Judo White Belt Wins GOLD in Light Heavyweight Division
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
Huge thanks to everyone for the support I very much appreciate it! This is my second competitive showing in Judo at white belt about 2 months after graduating so I'm a bit rusty here. The belts that my opponents are wearing are simply to make a distinction as to who the second opponent is, traditionally the second opponent would be wearing a blue gi. My opponents were green belt and orange belt...

Road to 1k
Lets gettit 🗣️
Congrats my boy 🎉🎉
I appreciate it man 🤝
Man, you're a beast ! That quick misdirection was golden.
Hi, thank you for sharing.
You can tell you are higher than white
Amazing! After 10 years finally I'm training Judo again, so this channel is perfect for me. How long it took you to get the green belt? Greetings from Chile! 🎉
How long did you train Judo before the comp? It was great.
Keep up the content!
Un blanco le gano a un azul?, no se supone que para eso eta el judo y la oportunidad de los bajos de estatura vs los altos de estatura?
Have my first competition this Saturday. Have 4 months experience. See how it goes. Just go out there and be aggressive.
I know Im late to this, but how did the comp go?
Man I loved that sasae/hiza guruma at the end!!
I'm still a white belt myself, trying to learn all the names. Was that Harai Goshi in the 1st, Ouchi Gari in the 2nd and Sasae in the 3rd? Those are the 3 main throws that I'm working on. Nice work nonetheless!
You're correct for the most part. That first throw didnt count because the ref called for a stop but yes it was Harai. There were two ouchi garis and the last throw was more of a sacrifice technique( I dont know the name lol). A sasae would be done from a standing postion. Thank you for the support!
0:15 😂😂😂😂
Good hiza guruma. Nice movement.
Great work! Awesome ippons!
cool!
About to have my first white belt match in 2 weeks and i am a neverous wreck... Good technique display 👏
Im very late on this, but how did you do?
Good job, well done nice techniques.
Very beautifully done. Now I'm convinced I want to practice Judo and get at least a belt that is after white
You wont regret training judo, I urge you to start your journey
Nice! I'm starting my first judo class tomorrow, how old are you? And how was your first class?
I hope your first class went well! Im in my twenties and my first class was right at the end of quarantine so there were only two other guys with me training Ne Waza. Judo is very complex to learn from the beginning due to its nature but stick with it and you'll see growth within 3 months
Excellent breakdown
Thank you for your support!
As a White belt I love love love Judo. You are such an inspiration, Angel. Love your style which I am trying to use. Aggressive!
That was fantastic. As a White belt it was great to watch. Love your aggressive style.
I am just gonna say your referee was blocking the view.
Yeah I cant do nothing about that lmao
Great work
try any of that on me id kick your ass buddy
Good match, and nice review and commentary
Always appreciate the support my man ‼️🔥
No me imagine que te estuvieran apoyando en español!! Jajaja ¿Eres puertorriqueño?
Yo no soy de puerto rico no, jaja
This is awesome brother, keep the videos coming💪 Judo=Life
Thank you for the support, more videos will be coming 🙇♂️
Why does this look like a normal fight that you see though in a school corridor all their doing is tackling each other to the ground
Hey. Love the content. If you've covered this before, apologies. What is the belt system where you are? I started (restarted, perhaps more accurately) january this year. I'm from the UK. Seems mad to me that you are doing this as a white belt?
I appreciate the support man. So from my understanding, Junior ranks (U18) it goes white, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, black. However, senior ranks( or at least my experience ) it goes white, green, brown, and then black. Also mad in a good way or bad way? 😂
@AngelJudo good way, definitely. Really impressive, and usefully instructional also. Shout out to you! Here, seniors go white, red, yellow, orange, green, blue, brown, black. And white belts cannot do probably any of what you did there, which was why I was surprised!
I really do appreciate the support, thank you
it's obvious you're not white belt
Yeah I was promoted to a green belt after this comp
I knew you weren’t a white belt, you did way better than any white belt I ever saw
Thank you so much for sharing this content. I just practiced judo for 2 months and I feel very confused in class when doing randori. I searched for many judo contents on TH-cam and yours videos helped me the most. Hope you can share more of these in the future. Thank you!!
Im glad that the breakdown helped you. I plan on doing these for my competitions as well as for my subscribers’ footage. I also have playlists set up to see all my competition videos and breakdowns of them. So if you ever have footage you want broken down on a video be sure to send it to my instagram!
Thanks for the tips! Looking forward for more content!
No prob, make sure to hit that notification bell for future videos
🐐
Where do you train?
Definitely not a white belt. Well done.
I was promoted to a green belt after this competition. Thank you for your support!
i'm a 11 years old and i do judo iam a red belt you looked good remember a black belt is just a white belt that got dirty from lots and lots of practice
The greatest comment on yt right here folks
Ts beatifull 😭🙏🏾
@@TheeRedditRat peak cinema 💀
@@AngelJudo appreciate it
Great judo! How old are you? I thin you can easily be an orange belt!
@sangtiennoi Thank you very much, I recently was promoted to a green belt. Stay tuned for my newest video!
@@AngelJudo yeah! I'm a green belt too! Thanks God we have judo man!!
@@sangtiennoi Truly an amazing sport, just trying to build a community one video at a time!
Yes! My Favorite TH-camr Judoka returns!!🎉
Great job for a white belt, lots of potential!! Keep it up brother
Thank you very much my man!
3:34 That throw is Sode Tsurikomi Goshi. Morote seoi nage is executed using a traditional sleeve and lapel grip. 👍🏾
Thank you for the correction, this video was made very fresh into my judo journey.
Very nice!
Nice
Nicely Done. I wish you all the best. Im starting judo next week at 32 yrs old, and gonna drive over 100 miles for each training season, just to be a part of judo.
If you’re able/have to make that drive then much respect to you my friend. As long as the dojo you’re a part of gives you the best environment to grow then you’ll be good
@@AngelJudo Thank you. I started my training, and I never had better time than train judo, I just love it.
Im glad you found yourself a proper community and dojo to be a part of. Train till your hearts content!
Very impressive - especially as some of your opponents were bigger than you yet you still got ippons quickly. I’m especially impressed with that Sasae at the end - that was a fantastic set up and execution
I appreciate you support man, I truly am humbled.
You are doing a very good jobs compared to a white belts level. Watching and analyzing yourself is a great way to improve your skills.
Thank you very much for your support
Good stuff bud.
Wow such good flow and rhythm for a white belt! Inspiring !!
Thank you very much for your support, stay tuned for more content.
@@AngelJudo hoping to follow the same thing as you! (30m) adult 2 months in white belt trainjng with blacks and greens
@@NoPhilters Training with high level belts is the best thing you can ask for, thats how a lot of my training went and you just absorb so much information. Looking to hear from you on your progress.
@@AngelJudo you need to start learning grip breaks. Soon the "two stone figures" pushing it out phase is over. Instead of stiff your opponents will become like unthrowable wet noodles. Keep up the good work :)
