The manual power button failed with barely any use in 2/3 HD blinds within the first year and I'm supposed to pay to have such defect repaired- no Hunter Douglas, do better- stop claiming to be a high end brand just because your defective products are over priced!! This has nothing to do with expecting a perfect product. If a product is defective- the manufacturer should assume full responsibility to ensure product defects are effectively and efficiently repaired at absolutely no cost to the customer. HD does not take such customer first approach- HD expects for the customer to pay a dealer to service their product defect or for the customer to pay a dealer to ship the defective product to HD- thus the HD warranty is essentially useless beyond getting parts after the customer has to spend time and even more money for an already overpriced product which is supposed to be high end- what a joke- beware!!

How to repair hunter douglas 20 year old shade

OMG! Thank you! One of my blinds in a bay window had been out for years and one of the others went out the other day. I had no idea it had a power button to reset. My button are on the outside and are red but they did the same thing and now all my blinds work again. Thanks again for a clear, concise video.

What are the chances I'll get a response? I have a very similar if not the same shade. It has rolled up backwards. It went all the way down and then kept going and made the shade roll up backwards. Now it'll only go down a foot and stop. How to I get it all the way back down then roll up the proper way? I have 8 total and two of them have done this.

Is this how to remove the bali cellular shades aswell?

Thank you. This demonstration was super helpful. I had 3 blinds with one valance. I did the pull down/ lift procedure at each bracket and it worked great. No problems.

The 6 second hold didn’t work for me. The shade went all the way up but it’s now stuck in the up position and won’t go down. Replaced batteries without any results.
