One of the traps I use in that area is in the tunnel before the bridge. Make the opponent follow me and U-Turn or wait for someone going from east to west on the bridge. Just make sure that when you point east to keep to the left in the tunnel and preferably at the bend so the opponent won't see you and when chasing you he won't see when you do the U-Turn so you can have a jump on him. It doesn't always work because it's a very obvious trap but I've stolen some high level cars there.
