My name is Brandyon and this is my company TATOG Tech. At the encouragement of one of my coworkers, in 2018 I started learning about tech. I started to take it more seriously in August of 2019 and finished the Google IT Support Specialist certification that I started about a year earlier. I received my Security+ certification in 2021 and my CCNA in 2022. My full-time time job has nothing to with tech so I wanted to use this as a platform to share what I am learning in my journey to working in Tech full-time. TH-cam videos is where I learned a lot so I wanted to return the favour. All I ask is when interacting with others on my channel, DON't BE A DICK BRO!

Outstanding! Thank you - just what I needed. :) Tried a few tutorial and none seemed to work properly for me. But this was the best and easiest by far :)
i followed your instructions best i can. problem with crystal fetch is I can't find any other options for windows like you did, I wasn't able to get anything at all. so I used whatever was available. otherwise I did exactly what you did. I booted it up and unfortunately It didn't even give me the option to open windows it threw me to this "mapping table" right away?? I'm unsure what to do, I have no clue how to get rid of it and I'm getting increasingly frustrated. any advice??

After the installation (at like 10:12 in the video) it says it needs to restart to work and then restarts it automatically and has been repeating the process for 3 times now. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Make sure to remove the install media from the VM.
when i clicked the download button on the UTM website, they're directly birng me to the github link and then shown "404 this not the page that you're looking for"

8.10 is the current version of 8, so that is what it will upgrade it to.

I set 6 cores and I only have 1 working in the W11vm and it is soooo slow, it really proves how bad windows is at constantly doing things you don'w want. If I boot to desktop, run nothing except the resource monitor, it will jump to 100% usage constantly running various things from virus manager, to windows update which I have disabled, edge updater, which I have disabled... Search, and more. Mind boggling and I am glad I rarely need to use windows

I did it from Virtmanager gui and everything was smooth, but how can I set the system size to 32 GB, for example, it shows that it consumes 80 GB??
You will need to resize the root partition of the Kali machine (to prevent data loss) and then use the qemu-img resize command on the host machine to shrink down the storage disk.Keep in mind, doing this could still result in data loss. You can always manually install it.
is it for M1 pro mac?
The system I used is an M2 Pro. Should be the same regardless of your Mac.

Check the ISO. Most commonly experienced this when I accidentally downloaded the non-ARM version.
@@tatogtech6748 it was the emulation type. Got it working and it was beyond slow. Not usable for me sadly. Parallels for me 😇
Mate this was great, although just need some help, i got right to the end of the etcher validation and a message pops up something wrong, if its a compressed image check the archive is not corrupt, the writer process ended unexpectedly. Ive tried different versions if etcher and heaps of iso files, mint, kubuntu, ubuntu. Im on a m1 mac. Any ideas? Was going to try wonderiso
That is weird. I have not seen that. Try changing the location of your ISO file. Also make sure they are actually ISO files.

I just fixed it actually! Try going to the settings of your Proxmox Virtualbox, then go to network and then advanced, promiscuous mode: allow all
@@coolkidzzz I am using virt manager on Linux because virtualbox was not able to bridge it correctly :( It was just for learning purposes because I plan to build my own physical thinclient 😀

Hm! I didn't know that NM came from Red Hat. That company contributed a lot. If you want to be consistent it would be good to make a video about the firewall and packet filtering. Stting up a VPN network and sharing files to the local network. I am using Linux for years and still don't know how NM works. Which means it works well 😀

Check the IP address on the local network.
For the internet section, I don't see an option for "I don't have internet". How can I fix this?
Its probably been updated by Microsoft. You can download an older version that still has that available.

I got this error: "Something went wrong while opening /Users/imac/Downloads/ubuntu-24.04-desktop-amd64.iso. Error: (0 , h.requestMetadata) is not a function". What do I do here?
I would recommend trying to select it again.
