My favorite Tudor!

I bought Seiko 5 Sports watch just two months ago,after few days the time is running faster like 2 to 3 minutes. What is the issue, do I need to return it back or this issue can be solved.

My Seikos are black waffle srpe03 king turtle, black dial srpg27k1 seiko 5 field watch and black dial snk381k1 field watch "macv-sog" reissue. I also have a 7s26 diver acquired from a trade. Its in terrible worn condition with a starfish bezel ring. Im more of a field watch and have since moved on to Hamilton khaki field automatic and manual wound watches. I have no interest in Seiko anymore unless i find a snk377k1 in NOS condition. Its the white dial version of the snk381k1. All my mechanical watches are on bracelet.

Great watch..bought mine in February and wear it as my daily on a green SWC Velcro strap👍👍..Extremely comfortable! Will probably get an Uncle Seiko bracelet later, but the strap is that will dominate the time on the wrist.. this is the watch that said to me, you are almost there in the quandary of finding the perfect watch!

I have the green grenade dial King Turtle that I love but I too am looking to go a little more up scale in the Seiko Prospex lineup. You’re right, they have so many styles, colors & sizes it can get frustrating to settle on a particular watch!

Great Seikos! SKX was also my 1st automatic watch, still have it. I own the green Willard SPB153 and the gild 62MAS SPB147, they are beautiful!

Expecting my SPB at the end of this week and I too have found/ordered an OEM bracelet, so it’s nice to see that I am not alone in going bracelet not NATO. Thank you for sharing.

Where in Tennessee do you live. Memphis here. Curious how the U50 keeps time… I’ve been considering it along with a few other Sinns for many years. Probably gonna pull the trigger soon.

Favorite brand hands down I’ve owned everything from Casio to Rolex the sd43 was going to be my one watch but a year and a half in after owning it I began to get bored and want variety and this is the one brand I keep coming back to almost half my collection is seiko I have an entire box of GS and seiko prospex Ive always just loved the utilitarian look of their tool watches and the quality and value of their high end stuff that blew my Rolex away for a fraction of the price on finishing, accuracy and lume next to a hand fitted and finished GS a SS Rolex sports model looks pretty rudimentary. I’ve got a sbga229,sbgc001, monster, samurai, king turtle, artic Willard, 300m tuna, a solar, tuna, srp637, srpa79, sla021 mm300, sna411 flightmaster, sbdc145 62mas sbdc051, sbdc061, then 2 of my favorite prospex divers transocean sbdc047 and my transocean chrono sbec001 they are innovators and have a long history and have been outclassing Swiss watchmakers for a long time after they won the accuracy trials in Geneva several years running the Swiss Called off the competition. Although prices have jumped over the years the brand still offers great value for a completely in house brand with such a long history you feel like you get what you are paying for but they have competition especially in the homage department my buddy was wearing one the other day of a watch I have my spb301 ice Willard he said he payed $100 for it on Amazon next to the seiko which was about $1200 and I was blown away has a beautiful textured dial vase shape is identical bracelet is solid linked with screws and a milled clasp and 6 micro adjust, 200m screw down signed crown/caseback, a sapphire crystal and a lumed ceramic bezel the finishing wasn’t as nice neither were the bracelet or clasp but it wasn’t 10 times as nice and my seiko doesn’t have a ceramic let alone lumed ceramic bezel, a signed crown or screw links and it has a seiko nh35 not as nice as the 6r35 with 3 day power reserve but for a 1/10th the price I was stunned that you can get a diver that nice that cheap bought a different colored one and it’s on the way for a beater 😆
