This guy is full of himself. edit: wow 20 minutes in and he's only told meandering stories about himself and noodled around aimlessly. This is what happens when you've been validated from a young age but haven't built any character or experienced any hardship. Greyson has nothing to say yet. I hope one day that changes.

@@timpricedrums well put. I don't sense any humility. I recently started checking out Larnell Lewis' lesson videos, and it's the exact opposite! Larnell has something to say on the instrument, he's got wonderful technique AND he's humble. Gotta stay humble

Love how the audience feet tap in time...Enjoyed this..I didn't think the Pesrl kit did it justice how it was tuned..Shame with a bit of tweaking it could have sounded awesome..
It speaks so much for Greyson that he doesn't act from the stage, but sits in the middle of his students, just like one of them...big man🙏

although I recognize his ability why do I hate his playing so much? It's just so painful to listen to. I just saw ari Hoenig live and it was transformational. Greyson is just not musical.... YET
had to stop at minute 8 for that reason and then saw your comment.. yup
he plays kinda sloppy, the warm up at the beginning is one example, the snare and bass drum hits are not together
He just needs more gigs under his belt. There’s a big chance his lack of musicality is due to less musical socialization as an instagram drummer creating content. He has facility, but needs to apply it to more real-life interactions on the bandstand.
