Joe Biden Stepping Down: My 2 Cents

Elvis: 1979 TV Movie Review @eyeofbrown1387

Director John Carpenter and actor Kurt Russell began a fruitful collaboration with this 1979 biopic of Elvis Presley. On the eve of his first concert in 8 years, Elvis reflects on his life: from his upbringing as a child, to his teenage yearning for fame, and to his adult cynicism of his eventual gilded cage lifestyle. The film also shows how fame affected his relationships with friends and fam...

      Yeah, in season 4, they were financially scraping the bottom of the barrel. Hence, why a lot of the helicopter shots looked so “familiar”. Regarding Jean Bruce Scott not returning as Caitlin O'Shannessy, they could’ve easily had a line of dialogue explaining what happened to her character. Your idea that she probably just went back to being a helicopter cop makes sense. But even if the producers were unable or unwilling to get Jean Bruce Scott back, they could have at least clarified her character’s fate for the fans. O’Shannessy was as much a favorite as Hawk, Santini, and Archangel were. As lame as Santini’s fate was, we at least KNOW what happened to his character.

    They're both really cheesy movies, but "Blind Fury" is just an endearing cult classic. At least for MY generation (Gen-X ) it is. Not to mention Meg Foster is super hot and really fun to watch (as always), and the whole premise of the movie is kinda easy to get into with the "blind warrior avenging his fallen comrade while saving his son" bit. "Omega Doom" is just, well,, cheesy though lol... The acting was really bad, and for the most part I just couldn't get into the movie because it seems to just drag on, and on, without enough action for what it's supposed to be. I really didn't like the dialogue too much either. It wasn't really "TERRIBLE", and it did have some funny moments, but it is definitely one of Rutger's worst movies. I like most of Rutger's stuff, but "Omega Doom" isn't one that I'd really want to rewatch any time soon. Great review btw! 👍

      @eyeofbrown1387 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you very much! I appreciate the feedback. I agree that they’re both cheesy, but Blind Fury makes the oddball comedy work, and it also knows when to “get dangerous”. Omega Doom is something that might’ve worked with some more development, but it just ends up being mostly forgettable.

    • @sarlaccstapeworm990
      @sarlaccstapeworm990 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@eyeofbrown1387 You're very welcome! Yeah, I totally agree that Omega Doom would've worked a lot better with some more development and maybe a slightly better production value. I know you didn't even bring it up, but I'm sorry I didn't realize earlier that I'd misspoke on Blind Fury about him "avenging his comrade". It's been probably over a decade since I've even seen it though lol. His buddy actually died in the war where he was adopted by that village where he learned his swordplay skills. It was JUST about him saving his buddy's son after he got back to the states (just thought I'd make that little correction there lol)... I really enjoy the older movies of the 80's & 90's. They just don't make em' like they used to. 👍

    Hey Brown! I watched this movie with Alicia the other night and we had such a good time. Thanks for the review! Have you heard of Nefarious? It's a psychological thriller that's in theaters right now. It's not up my alley, but you might really like it.

      Hey, pal! Thanks for stopping by! Glad y’all enjoyed the movie too! And you’re welcome! And I did see the trailer for Nefarious a few days ago. It looked intriguing! Hope it’s good! My best to you and your family!

    I wonder is there any behind the scenes of air wolf I searched on TH-cam and can’t find any.

      Hey, sorry for the late response. I don’t know how “behind the scenes” it is, but a podcast was recommended to me awhile back (still need to check it out lol): The Airwolf Years, I think it’s called. Someone WAS trying to put together an Airwolf documentary awhile back, but other than a preview, I haven’t seen anything of it. Hope this helps, and thanks for stopping by! 😊
