My version of the first 100 episodes of spongebob is almost exactly the same as the tmnt except there are only 2 discs on each side

This was the only generation where all consoles were successful and couldn’t go wrong with any of them.

DVD or Bluray - i rip tv shows to a drive for endless rewatch on my Libreelec media player. No extra compression to preserve original disc quality

I don't like the packaging either

Bought a South Park box set, has the same exact problem. Horrible box set design. The tv series "Dexter" has the same exact thing

One of the box sets i don't like is scooby doo mystery incorporated because it will say season one volume 2. I feel like i have to reread the dvd to make sure its the disc i want. I just need the season number,and disc number, the episodes that are on it would be nice too. Another box set i didn't like was greatest american hero because they put each one in individual sleeves, like the paper ones inside of the case, i just put it in the big binder because the sleeves are such a pain. And i broke a looney tunes dvd because the case was so cr@p.

Look at the recent DVD release of the '87 TMNT show, Paramount didn't even try with that release. As in IT'S LITERALLY THE LIONSGATE RELEASE AGAIN!

I know that they probably couldn't have had the disc names on the paper since it wouldn't be able to fit, but they should have, at the very least, replaced the disc numbers on the paper with abbreviations of the disc names. That way it would be at least somewhat clear what disc has what episodes.

The Sopranos box set is very similar, it’s very frustrating having to take out 3 discs to get to the other 3, as well as covering the box’s disc numbering. Thankfully the discs themselves are numbered so still better than this lol.

As a European, even the SpongeBob Sets, you showed, are kinda weird/bad for me, compared to the releases that we got. Over here, and also on my shelf, is a huge yellow square box set for SpongeBob, which includes the first eight seasons. On every disc you have the season number printed on it, and the disc number and also NO disc stacking at all. So you can go through it and see like, "ah, this is Season 1, disc 2" and so on. For the TMNT 2012 I have a different package, since the shown box set isn't avaible here. God thanks. Over here in my region we have indivudual box sets for S1-5, each Season is it's own box and, more important, all discs are numbered here and also the episodes are in the right order! A little bonus: Over here in Europe, with PAL we luckily have 576i as picture quality for DVDs, which comes much closer to HD. However, I agree with you, that Paramount should start releasing more HD era stuff on Blu-ray as well. I mean, there are so much people out there, who would immediately buy it and, I guess, even more people in the long-term who would be happy to own a Blu-ray copy. I don't know, what this is all about, at Paramount. Every other major studio also just gives us the Blu-ray option for the HD era stuff... Wow, this became such a long comment. Use blu ray it’s not 2007 anymore. Blu ray’s aren’t so top of the line for it to be niche in the western world. Maybe I’d understand if this was sold for Mexico or Brazil or any country that overprices modern tech
