    Worked for me, 11cm lung cancer tumour almost disappeared…will be having immunotherapy for the next 18 months, a few side effects … mainly arthritis induced by the immunotherapy…steroids have helped…it’s a small price to pay for the long term benefits which are mainly being alive !

    We just don’t understand cancer sufficiently. Most therapies are stabs in the dark since they work on some and not on others, they have limited effect and typically may offer only a few months of life. I pray one day we finally understand it.

    12:18. My husband is eleven years out from his stage 4 melanoma diagnosis. He is currently cancer free. Keytruda cured him. Zelboraf and Yervoy did not work. He had two golf ball size tumors in his left frontal lobe that were surgically removed and one more spot above the temporal area that was radiated. There has been some permanent mental deficits but most people aren’t able to tell.

    I had one put in for my chemo because I have small veins (after my first chemo without a port, I had three huge bruises where the IV went in). Having a port made it very simple to administer chemo drugs and to take blood before each chemo to check for the blood counts. I was very glad to have it. My only (minor) issue was that the car seatbelt tended to go right over it, pushing it or rubbing it and causing a mild discomfort. When this happened, I just put an extra piece of cloth over the area and it was fine.

    I have NSCLC and I've been given Pembrolizumab as a first line of defense. I've only received one round so far, but within 1 to 2 weeks after, I'm eating like a horse. And I'm seriously packing the food down. I'm guessing that my immune system is suddenly working overtime and needs more energy. I'll be seeing my oncologist pretty soon, but that's my guess as to why I'm eating like a starved wolf.

    • @TheRantingCabbie
      @TheRantingCabbie 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SupperGems One thing I found out about my appetite was that the tumor was robbing my body of nutrients, but once the drug got to work it was stopping that affect and I guess my body needed to satisfy the crave for nutrients. That eventually settled down. But after the second round of treatment, the tumor went from 35 mm down to 6 mm. There's a smaller tumor in the other lung that has so far gone from 12 mm down to 8 mm. Nevertheless it was tears of joy after the doctor gave me the results. After 5 rounds, they could "not" find the tumor. The smaller one is stubborn but no bigger. I just finished round 6 about 2 weeks ago. The treatments are every 6 weeks. And in about 3 weeks I get another ct scan. I'll be anxious to see the results. I'm just grateful that I can live a better quality of life by not receiving chemotherapy and achieving these results.

I regret him going alone because I would have stopped him. His doctor had told me it was a trial medication, And now they're saying that it was passed by the fda. I am really angry at this point. Hes 4 stage, I still dont know hiw long he has , so now not having life insurance ill loose my husband my house, because I cant work Im disable. According to the Cleveland Clinic, cancer starts when genes (that provide instructions to our cells) mutate and create cancerous cells. These cells create cancer clusters or tumors. Some cancerous cells break off and travel to other parts of the body. What the article curiously leaves out, is that the foods we eat, our environment, and toxic products have the ability to trigger changes in our genes and start the cancer process going. So it stands to reason that eating the right foods and avoiding toxic substances (like cigarettes, etc.) should be able to restore the function of our genes so that they no longer make cancerous cells. There have been many people who had cancer and changed their diets and lifestyles to eliminate meat, stop smoking, etc., and eliminated the cancer in their bodies. It takes time to reverse, but it has worked many times for many people. Big Pharma and its "anti-cancer" movement call this a "conspiracy theory" because they do not want to start losing customers. So the people that cure themselves of cancer are written off as one-off flukes instead of being acknowledged as having figured out how to defeat cancer. Even the World Health Organization admits that cancer can be cured if treated early and effectively, they just want you to use drugs when you could make simple, dietary changes instead. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2515569/ my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/12194-cancer theconversation.com/what-you-eat-can-reprogram-your-genes-an-expert-explains-the-emerging-science-of-nutrigenomics-165867#:~:text=Food%20also%20contains%20micronutrients%20such,that%20reside%20in%20the%20genome.&text=Like%20the%20switches%20that%20control,certain%20gene%20product%20is%20produced. www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/cancer
