มุมมอง 3183 หลายเดือนก่อน
This year United Flight Systems decided to participate in a contest hosted by the Cessna Pilot Center (CPC) group called Top Hawk. Each Cessna Pilot Center can submit a video and application to be awarded a brand new Cessna (first 250 hours of flight and the option to buy). We hope to get good news and show off a brand new 2025 Cessna to our students and the local aviation community!

Very truthful
Cool
You gave a great breakdown for why a customer should consider each or all of the options in the Aviators Advantage program. The fifty hour Sim savings alone could easily reach $6,000 for a commercial student. That savings results from not flying and just boring holes in the sky while dropping well over $150/hr. There is also an unstated, but very real student benefit to the program. The benefit is that using the program stimulates consistency in practice. At certain levels of learning, even brief breaks tends to create slight degradation of skills. With the program, the students at all levels will progress as much as each individual can do. I'm impressed.
Thanks, Woody! We feel the same way and appreciate your thoughts!
Love the content,keep it coming.

Hi. I’m an avid listener to your show and I’m hoping you can clarify my confusion on this: I just had my stage 4 check ride with the owner of the flight school in preparation for my PPL check ride. He wouldn’t let me use Foreflight, and to my surprise asked me to do 30 degree turns in slow flight, and then had me retract the flaps to climb in slow flight. My CFI never had me perform slow flight maneuvers like that and told me that a DPE would not approve of, or have me doing either in a check ride. My CFI told me the applicant is only supposed to demonstrate both standard rate turns and climbing/descending in a full landing configuration for slow flight. Which is the correct?
The ACS (Airman Certification Standards) clearly defines what each applicant must and might have to do during a practical exam. The Private ACS can be found here: www.faa.gov/training_testing/testing/acs/private_airplane_acs_6.pdf. Slow Flight, specifically Area of Operation VII. Slow Flight and Stalls - Task A. Maneuvering During Slow Flight, states in the skill section that the applicant "Accomplish coordinated straight-and-level flight, turns, climbs, and descents with the aircraft configured as specified by the evaluator without a stall warning (e.g., aircraft buffet, stall horn, etc.)." This would make be believe an evaluator (i.e. DPE) could have the aircraft configured differently and could have you do turns and climbs as they see fit. I do not think it would be bad to clarify with the DPE before the flight portion of your check ride what they may be expecting during any phase of the flight if you have questions or concerns. The DPE will evaluate you to the ACS Standards.
Very simple. Type part 141 vs part 61 in a search.
Love my flight schedule pro…..

You might not "be perfect", but with these block times, you're going to be getting dang close. Excellent guidance for soon to be professional aviators is contained in these new guidelines. Well done.
Best flight school in town!
Who you are /where you are -what you want
The longest water runway!
Close, we will announce the winner and all the responses on an upcoming episode.
Still have my videotapes from the kings schools from the 90s lol got me through my private . Much respect for the Kings.
Legends are always fun to hang out with! :)
I’m guessing it is the length of the Seaport runway 2500 ft long
Water runway, and you are correct!
Hoover has a Camera that works!!!
Hoover. Good interview
Hoover’s channel is great. I have been following him for quite a while and he is consistently respectful.
Hoover is great!
Hoovers' breakdowns are always thorough and presented to educate. Nice interview.
Love the Podcast and Hoovers channel. I listen to them both regularly. Keep up the great content!
YOU BET!!! Keep listening!
I’m a green card holder (resident) , do I register at IACRA or TSA first ?
I would suggest that you contact the school you are going to attend. We wouldn't expect either to be done before we discussed a student's goals and work on a plan to help them be successful. Best of luck and check out our podcast, Behind the Prop - www.behindtheprop.com.
This podcast is set up as if Bobby and Wally sat down and discussed what I have been saying to myself for many years. I've known far too many folks that could only see the far end. They envisioned themselves sitting down in the right seat of the "big planes", but didn't consider doing a stellar job along the way. Unfortunately, they sometimes consider the process to be a little bit beneath them. Fortunately, from day one, Bobby has looked at the training process as a critical piece of helping folks become professional pilots. I started this note thinking about what I should do to help myself become a better pilot as I near the far end of my flight time, and realized that it is much the same as what I needed to do to be a better pilot all along the way. I'm going to dig in, get a set of action (lesson) plans, study and modify them, and then put myself through a complete training scenario for a private pilot. After listening to this podcast, I know now that just reading isn't sufficient. Thank you for putting this out just for me, whether that was your original intent or not. It worked.
WOW Woody, thank you for the comment and feedback. We will keep working hard to be the best flight school in the world! I look forward to seeing your work to complete a complete training scenario for a private pilot.
Thanks for sharing!
What about the engine failure drill?
Can you make a video explaining the difference between Part 141 and Part 61?
His passenger brief more detailed than my pre flight inspection
I like that
Great vid!!!
Thanks Captain that Helped but you forgot the brace position
I passed my checkride today. Thank you so much for your videos and channel. Your videos were a ton of help with achieving this goal.
This is awesome. I am preparing for my checkride. My DPE is an airline captain so I have been wondering how the hell I'd brief him on my lil cessna. lol
I start ground school on January 10. Exciting times ahead
Thank u Captain
When is the open house!?
April 2, 2022 from 12p to 4pm
Wait! You have different briefings for short people?
HA, HA! We do have seat cushions so maybe we should add that to our brief, just in case!
I very rarely take passengers up but I also mention no talking over any radio calls. I also wonder if I should show them the button to make radio calls in an emergency in case something happens that I am unable to. That may come under the heading of being paranoid and probably wouldn't be suitable for some passengers.
A question i haven't been in a small modern plane in awhile so I ask did they make the seatbelt s to match car seatbelt s in these more modern times. As a kid I remember them as a big clip sort of resimbling a cowboy boukel
They are still similar to the one you describe. More like a big buckle!
