Stefan & Caroline are one of (if not my top #1) my favorite couples in all of television. The way they grew from acquaintances to best friends and eventually to lovers was seamless and gradual and felt so natural. They made each other better and saw the worst moments of the other and accepted it and helped each other through it all. Absolutely Steroline is #1

I always liked her relationship with stefan, i dont really like the show but i loved klaroline and i had said when i first watched vpd if she didnt get with klaus i wouldve loved for her to have her June wedding with stefan, he was the only one who deserved her vampire self, she matured alot and became a huge part of the show!! And she deserved to have somone who would be there for her just like stefan was there to support her when her mom passed! I saw alot of lexi in caroline, i feel like she was a bit of that bestfriend that stefan needed and lost, she was an amazing friend to him:))

I remember when I started the show it was already on its sixth or seventh season, so I knew that they would get together eventually And I remember thinking by like season 2 how well this relationship was set up and couldn't believe how much longer it would take for them to actually get together.

Biggest mistake TVD ever made - and there were several - was to kill Stefan at the end. Terrible, terrible choice. He deserved happiness and he never got the chance to truly have it.
