I'm going to give this a try on console

Nice video, should probably point out that other than fast destroyer blade, this is often used to cancel lock-on rockets quicker. There are also some quirks about it, most notably how most mods break for a few seconds after a mod-swap cancel unless you go through heavy cannon, which fixes it. A pretty buggy and weird tech overall

Cool video man. Also yeet hook(the version where you use weapon wheel to gain distance) can't be performed from a meathook node, you can only do it from demons.

I seem to have trouble beating this level without dying mainly cuz of this end

Your amazing at this game!! I'm struggling to try to be at reclaimed earth without dying but cant, been stuck for 2 months, doing a un run, any tips on that map? Usually the last battle gets me, a lot of heavy demons in the end phase and fodder as well, also seems like no matter how much I dart and dash in the air the enemy is locked in like a sniper

Awesome it's not easy, just did it on Xbox tho, don't think I can do this with enemies shooting at me but maybe help me skip some hard spots

I'm on Xbox and I can confirm you can not zip, at least not on that specific area, I loaded horse mode so I could jump right to that spot, but yes I am aiming and dashing and I don't go any further than I normally would with a dash

Can just skip from the first part using pause boosts I completed ultra nightmare in 6 mins Search bloodshot9001

Quick note: PB isn't the only way to get a SLOB. A single heavy cannon shot works, as well as any fast firing weapon once it's reached the "fast" state (after 8 shots for the plasma rifle, 12 ammo for the microwave beam, 6 shots from the chaingun/unmaykr, and 3 for full auto). From my experience, microwave beam into SLOB is an lifesaver in TAG 1 since it's essentially an instant delete button for any possessed demons.

you can still punch swap and moving if you're using claw grip. Also for rocket i'd say it's easier to do compare to the sticky, you can pb- shoot rocket-punch-rocket key-shoot rocket-repeat. The key here is you shoot as soon as the rocket launcher model appear on screen. I'd recommend SaverioStyle video on rocket punch swap he can explain it more detail than me.

I cannot get this to work consistently. The initial PB+Rocket is fine but the lock-on only seems to work 50% of the time, the rest of the time it either doesn't lock at all or there's a long delay after the first rocket.
