1993 F150 5.0 Flowmaster Super 10
มุมมอง 50K4 ปีที่แล้ว
2.5 inch piping 2 Flowmaster Super 10 Mufflers No cats or resonators Hedman Headers Dual Exhaust and no tips yet Video doesn’t do justice on how much louder it is in person
My 93 has the factory 5.0 302 with the dual exhaust system, but it doesn't sound as good as this and im not sure im thinking mine might need a tune-up or timeing change or new spark plugs
Is the one with the flow masters a 5.0? Thinking about getting a flow master system for my 91 bronco
Dont lnow of i want the glass pack or these flowmaster super 10
302 sounds good yall yes lord
the best looking Brute Force generation ever in my opinion..
I’m buying that how loud is it
Does it just have the super 10 and a after market exhaust ?
I always say straight pipe that old d For hides most of the other noises it makes including the notorious power steering winding
Did you have to adjust carb or anything?
God damn it, sounds like you're trying to giving them another hole to breathe outta????? 😮😮😮😮
I like very quiet trucks...my 94 and 92 4x4 302 f150s are all stock. Nice and quiet.
What headman headers?
367k 😂 n counting 😅
If you have a truck with the 300 4.9 ...most went 400k or more. I have 185k on my 94 5.0 and 149k on my 92 5.0. Usually timing belt and water pump changes are needed toward 200k on the 5.0.
Is that the fmf powercore 4?
Yes
Yea
Did you have to changed or upgrade anything to add that?
Flowmaster definitely sounds better!👍🇺🇲
My 93 crew cab 302 is like that silver one with platnium sideing, but no rust clean af
Same here lol kept it clean since I got it 😂
Gana get my 92 5.0 exhaust done soon can't wait I did breaks tires rims ball joints tie rods the whole tune up universal joint but I still got more work to do but runs great
Plz get a new belt for the first one
no way the first one is stock
The stock truck (if it is stock, probly not CAT) doesn't sound bad at all. I don't like the aggressive sound of the flow masters under load. The idle sounds good though. Just my opinion.
Exactly
That’s why I always prefer a glass pack. Great idle and don’t sound so aggressive under load
Agreed
Can't beat the sound of a real 5.0
The coyote 5.0 pisses on this old thing my guy 😂
Hope your in low gear
My mark three 93 has a built 5.0 lmao
I’m in love
I have a 1995 ford I love it 5.0 v8 got 263000 miles
I just recently got a 94 Ford F-150 engine swap from 5.0 to 5.8 and just installed a recronstucted tranny and I have yet to star it up😭😂
5.8 suck gas..so I stuck with 5.0. Most people put the pedal down with the 5.8 under the hood and lost mpg.
How much you pay for all ?
👎
Que buenas camioneta
Stock sounds way better. This seems like a downgrade if all you care about is sound!!
Thanks for the feedback Andrew. How about you worry about your big ass forehead instead of my exhaust.
@@lukej3266 🤣
Agreed..both my f150s are stock and quiet. I had a log truck once and after having new exhaust on the big deisel it was so much quieter and better to drive. Noise gets to me.
Im sorry, but that sounds like the shitty exhaust california squat meets.
Too bad you don’t even have a car, and everyone else likes this. Get a life bro.
Отлично
Bone Stock is good enough for me
Stock is a easier to get inspection the way most places inspect these days. I am an old guy and lots of self mods past inspections decades ago but now the techs look for that kind of independent work and will not give an inspection sticker. They love brand new cars even if safety wise they have recall issues. Stupid system. At least I can remember the good old days and custom trucks.
I want to do the 10 but it might be too loud
The 10 is the loudest you can get. I would go with the super 44 they are still loud but quieter than the 10
Is it overbearing loud or is it manageable
Inside the cab when driving it’s not that loud. But from the outside it’s pretty loud lol.
Gotta love the OBS Ford's brother as they'll outlast any EcoBoost truck out there with ease.
Absolutely brother!
@CJColvin I had a 1996 Ford F-150 302 4x4.... had a 6" lift and 35 x 12.50 15 tires. I loved that old truck and worked pretty good. The family life came, and the old F-150 regular cab just didn't have the room. I sold it with well up the high 200 000 mile range. Probably two years later, I saw it driving past, and it was knocking and pounding pretty bad. Not the old girls fault. You gotta maintain your vehicles. That was 14 years ago.....
@billknight5578 Right, luckily I still have my 1996 Ford F150 with a 5.0L (302) Windsor V8 in it with 211,000 miles on it and still going strong as well.
@@CJColvin Some days I wish I still had the old girl. It was a fun truck, and people noticed when it's was around.
@billknight5578 Right and I get compliments all the time when I drive my 96 F150 around.
Flow masters are over rated...
Your flip phone in your profile pic is overrated 🤣
@@lukej3266 jelous... seriously flowmasters are over rated.. everyone has them.. like commonly the first mufflers people reach for.. change it up, put glasspacks in front of those flowmasters and enjoy a sound that's unique.. I did it on my 88 f250 7.5...
@@lukej3266 even brock Lesnar uses a flip phone... lol
@@Hollywoodhouse74 your just jealous I got a better truck than you, and a much better phone.
Dud quick question i have a 96 f150 5.0 could you add a dual super 10 muffler is it possible or not
I have 2 super 10 mufflers on it so yea
@@lukej3266 hey but is it expensive to put on like hiw much dies it cost
@@miguelgarcia3178 the mufflers were $70 each, and I paid $400 for the whole exhaust and to be installed “pipes were from muffler shop”
that other ones doesnt have cats either cuz it wouldnt have been that loud at all!
It isnt running just right. You may need to rebuild it.
Which truck is not running right? They both run okay especially the white one. The other one has 365,000 miles so I’m not complaining.
@@lukej3266 the truck on the left sounds like the cam profile is diminished and thus closing(max lift diminished)the valves early and causing the exhaust to sound, well, less powerful. The difference in exhaust could also be the culprit to the difference in tone and amplitude. I just get the suspicions that the left side truck has signifigantly weaker power. I feel like it should be louded. Loud cars = Horsepower. Bigger booms = more power. Thus if you install a 2 identical exhaust on two vehicles, one having a worn out 5.0 and one having a brand new 5.0 The brand new one will have more amplitude(IE physical energy) coming out of the tailpipes (measured in dB) All due to the fact that the brand new motor can bring in mire air/fuel and let it in and out faster. Which is the formula for power. (Chemical to Centripital Motion or Momentum)
At 365,000 *assuming thats the one on the left** the Ford Engineers did a good job. Good ole trucks. Mine has 209,000 on its original transmission and non-rebuilt motor. Runs like a top.
@@UserName-ln5ol Awesome brother I have a 1996 Ford F150 with a 5.0L (302) Windsor V8 with 210,000 miles on it and still going strong. The only things I replaced on my truck was the starter, the rear fuel pump, and the power steering megunisum but other than that mostly was just simple maintenance, took out the transmission fluid just to get rid of the shuttering it was making and it hasn't had a problem ever since.
Beast!!
Definitely not going to sneak up to the hunting blind in either one of those trucks especially, the first one and it’s squeaking idler pulley news flash add another round plastic threaded bushing to the the idler pulley as well add some grease and ta da! No more squeaking idler pulley!
hey buddy. walk in.
Poser. Big buck hunters walk in. Sheesh.
Just replace the pulleys and nail a stupid problem in the bud. I did on my 1994 f159 4x4 long bed 302.
Yep I'm doing it. Thanks for the demo.
How hard is it on gas with no cats?
Mines pretty rough it’s got a bunch of new stuff including brand new injectors and it’s a 302 5speed if I baby it I’ll get like 12-13 mpgs
I don’t think I really saw a difference but once I lifted mine and put 35 inch tires on it then the gas mileage got a lot worse
my 89 is so much quieter and the rev limiter seems a bit lower too
Take the governer off
Finally the video i been looking for before i put a super 10 on my 90 f150
Is this cat back?
6000 RPM with a stock engine kind of dumb but I was young and did it myself.
Dumb commenting about it if you did it yourself lol
5.0 or 5.8l?
Both are 5.0
As long as the exhaust is blowing white steam, it’s cold..
