one nice ride!

I make a joke with the person picking the car about an upgrade that I see in the lot. When they’re looking for my cheap econobox, I point to the Camaro and say, “I bet it’s that one.” Every time now, they ask if I want ‘that one’, and I act pleasantly surprised and say, “Really? How much extra for that one?”. So far, without fail, they say something like, “If it’ll make you a happy customer, I can upgrade you for free.” Again, I act pleasantly surprised. “Really?! That would be awesome! I don’t want to get you in trouble tho…” They say something like, “I won’t get in trouble, it’s my job to make the customer happy. So if it’ll make you happy, I’ll upgrade you to that one.” I graciously accept, we write it up, and we both leave happier for the experience. I love that dance. It’s one of my few life hacks, and we both leave feeling better about our day. How great is that!

In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster.
