Swagat hai aapka in Bananas - Spiritual capital of India, sharing our beautiful little 2.5 days trip to this divine city which is one of the oldest cities in the world.
Stayed at Omkar Dwivedi hotel just right at Chausathi ghat, so we could just walk few steps to reach Dashashwamedh ghat for evening Aarti.
Places to eat :
Blue Lassi , Laxmi chai wale, Kesariya that,Ram chat bhandar, Deena chat bhandar etc, Netaji paanwale.
Monalisa cafe is good ambiance with delicious food.
Sushi cafe is also good.

All rooms are same, beautiful cottages, you can chose sharing or private accommodation just the price varies a little bit.

Hey, just wondering how many times you or other people there felt like walking into Rishikesh? It's 5km away but is it a bit of a trek to go up/down the hill and you would likely not go there often or at all? Seems like beautiful surroundings there but i wonder how easy it is for getting into Rishkesh a few times if you take a course there. Thanks.
Hey ! The hike is not very tough! Just 25-30 mins and taxi is easily arranged. My friends went down to the market mostly on every week offs.

I’ m thinking about 200h teaching course here in August but I’m afraid of rainy season , beacuse it Can rain every day in this month . It Is far away from Town ?
Not very far away from main town! But Its 4-5 kms away and then 25-30 mins trekk.

Hi, you need to go lake pichola boat point near Doodh Talai and there you can get a ticket for sunset boat ride.

It's very cold there in winters ☃️ but at the same time very Beautiful ❤️🤩

Is it safe for solo girl traveller at night
It is a cute and happening city and we did not feel any discomfort. It was nice and safe.
Helloo, I am thinking of going here soon, did you stay in the ashram the whole period, or were you able to go down to the center when you needed? I’m a bit worried that if I choose this school I won’t be able to see the center of Rishikesh that much, compared to the schools in Upper Tapovan
Hey, we could visit on our weekly day offs but have to come back before it gets dark. I stayed for couple of days in Rishikesh (Tapovan) before the training started to experience Maa Ganga Aarti and market at evening or night. Have a good one. :)
