I mean really, MAPPA even with incomplete animations saved JJK. The manga is unreadable, I basically stopped reading the thing all-together during the end of the Culling Games and started watching leak videos. The whole thing has no substance, Gege does not understand the concept of characterization or character interactions. The extended anime scenes actually salvaged somewhat the disaster that people call "manga"

As Sukuna stood in the cursed Chuck E. Cheese, the jar of ajvar still in hand, he smirked. "Hawk tuah? Nah, you fools don’t understand. I AM the hawk tuah." And with that declaration, Sukuna hawk tuahed so hard the entire arena shook, and a giant crack appeared in the animatronic Balkan band. From the fissure emerged a gigantic cat, wearing a cursed tracksuit with "SKIBIDIBOP" embroidered on it in gold. The cat let out a guttural "MEOOOOOWWWW-SKI," charged at the speed of infinite ratios, and 20-20-20 dropkicked Gojo straight into a loop of his Spotify Wrapped. Gojo, mid-dropkick, blinked. "This… this is the funeral for the living, isn't it?" he whispered before crashing into the neon claw machine, spilling out cursed plushies. The gigantic cat, now towering over everyone, looked down with a glare that could rival Sukuna's tattoos. It roared: "DID YOU LEAVE IT ALL BEHIND FOR THOSE WHO KNOW, OR WERE YOU THE STRONGEST OF TODAY?" Its voice echoed like a late-night TH-cam conspiracy video. Hakari, clutching his side, wheezed, "Nah, Gojo. You’re not the strongest of today, bro. You’re the skibidiest of them all." The cat’s eyes gleamed. "Throughout heaven and earth, only one stands above all. And it’s not Kashimo. It’s not Sukuna. It’s not even Hakari." It pointed a massive paw toward the remains of JoGoat, who was now crying in a puddle of lightning and Balkan rage. "It’s me. The Tuah Cat." Sukuna raised his jar of ajvar, licking a cursed finger clean. "Tuah Cat… I left it all behind. But not the hawk tuah. Show me what you’ve got." And just like that, the battle shifted. The gigantic cat started breakdancing to a cursed remix of "Skibidi Toilet," while Kashimo furiously attempted to speed-blitz it, only to be countered by 20-20-20 Requiem Dropkick every time. Hakari laughed hysterically, tears streaming down his face. "This isn’t even a fight anymore. This is Lobotomy Kaisen on steroids." Meanwhile, Sukuna grinned, tossing the ajvar jar at the Tuah Cat. "Your skibidi ends here. Let’s see if you can dodge a Heavenly Gyatt Blue Reversal." The jar shattered, and the screen faded to black, leaving only the faint echoes of "Hawk Tuah…"

I prefer the anime because they play on Sukuna's personality. He can win whenever he wants to and he knows. But that's no fun obviously. He wants to see how strong Megumi is, and Mahogara is a good taste.

I like the fact they expanded the fight. The intensity of the anime fight adds to Sukuna’s desire to takeover Megumi.

If this is how short the fight was and how long Mappa made it, I can't imagine how long the animated Sukuna vs Gojo will be

It’s necessary for them to make things long (especially fights) so people can undress what is happening , meanwhile in the manga alot is happening in a a short time.

Missed the the scene where mahoraga slams sukuna across the city, anime didnt really take that in dispite the fight only being 2 chapters

Makes sense. In the manga, even Gojo one-shotted Mahoraga. Obviously the whole Sukuna vs Gojo fight will be a whole movie where Mahoraga serves a better and longer purpose. This was a 75% power Sukuna who was holding back alot, and the fight even went on so long was cause Sukuna wanted to play now that he had so much power restored, rather than win a quick yet boring fight. A full-power Sukuna would've insta-clapped raga too had he not been on his side.

To anyone who says dub had no emotion, “you can see my technique, right?” That just hits sooo hard 🙄
