Yes, when landscaping, it's important to plant plants close so as to look established already. These coleus I used in this video don't grow much higher, it also depends on what variety you use and under what growing condition it was grown. Have an Awesome day 😁

@@gardendeeds Thanks for your reply. That is part of what confused me. I assumed (unless a customer wants otherwise, I guess) that when landscaping, one would leave room for the plants to grow....that it naturally will take a llittle while for a bed to have fully mature look. Unless, of course, the plants you're planting are already mature (but if that's the case, they are probably much more expensive than something that has to grow a bit still). Anyway....thanks for your input.

This is an interesting one, I've personally never had a problem with leaf cutters, however, I'm confident if you made a chilli, garlic, detergent mixture with water, and sprayed it on the leaves, it would deter them and encourage them to eat a not so spicy leaf. Pls Pls Pls let me know the outcome. Good luck.

@@gardendeeds would you happen to know the ratio of ingredients? I’m a noob gardener and couldn’t resist gardening in this beautiful climate.

@@kamilla1111 I would say a tablespoon of detergent, as for the garlic and chilli, one must be able to smell it once it's been sprayed on leaves. If you cant smell it on the leaves, add more garlic and chilli.

HI Jaycee, Im so glad you liked it and thanks for the compliments. In terms of your question, normally one would use a "Grass limiter" in between your grass and stones. In our case, they hard to come by, so we always make sure to create a proper edge. Hope this helps :)
