God of war on gtx 1060 3gb i3 7100
I was planning on putting on fps counter, but my cpu just can't handle it while I record with obs. It runs butter smooth on the shown settings, but my cpu struggles a lot while recording so there are some dips. it stays between 42 - 50+ fps.
Here are my spec:
core i3 7100
Zotac gtx 1060 3gb apm edition
corsair vengence 8*2gb ddr4 @2400mhz.

Good day. I'm struggling with the same issue on a gigabyte board. I'm running widows 10. When I follow your instructions, it says I cannot run this software on a 64 bit version. Is windows 10 not supported for this fix with older boards?

I just had to wait like 2 minūtes then it went into windows updates mode. Then to 100% and then it started. I gues my motherboard hadronu new update

The gpu would do 50-60fps on 1080p medium to low settings. But I suggest you get the 6gb one with a better cpu.
@@therebelliousgeek4506 see I have got a very limited budget from my father and the 3gb version is the second hand version I am getting ya there are offered for 1660 s and rx 570 but they are asking too much

@@KasraRasa My thought process back then was "the latest might have some bugs, so I thought stay a version behind" and the gpu fix was in the change logs too, so yeah.

Then probably your maufactucturer did not fix it. Try reading change logs and see if you can figure anything our or not. It would describe the issue if they fixed it.
How do I find the page where I can download the update? When I press the link it sends me straight to the main page
Maybe they changed it, just search it with a search engine. Type gugabyte bios and search.

I have a similar problem, it's with a gtx 1060 3gb zotac mini, swapped my RX 580 for it but now I can't access my PC it freezes when it loads to windows, I have a msi b350m gaming pro motherboard
Maybe try removing the gpu, update the bios and try again.
I am getting this BIOS screen from a fresh build and it doesn't seem to want budge from it. I have tried erasing the CMOS etc. Should I booting up with my GPU unplugged?
You should, unless of course you've got a cpu without any integrated graphics.
@@therebelliousgeek4506 hmm i didn't think they did CPU's without some kind of graphics. My CPU is i5-3470. I wanted to do a cheap build and it seemed to work but wouldn't move off the boot screen no matter what keys I pressed. I wasn't able to try from my motherboard as it only had VGA output to my HDMI monitor but I have bought a converter so will try this and report back. Thanks for your reply

This only works if you have a APU for onboard graphics.
As the title says, after you install a gpu, but if you have an old board, and are upgrading to a new cpu/apu, you can still update the bios.

This fr saved my life!
Linux user :) can update using freedos 1.2 legacy download bios, extract Efiflash & H61MDS22.10a, boot into freedos 1.2 legacy option 4 (freedos with minimum drivers) , run Efiflash H61MDS22.10a wait till erase, write, verify. restart computer works :) I org tested with an earlier bios but then did the later bios. all good :) the qflash wouldnt let me update as it kept saying check gigabyte for latest @bios & efiflash
