I can’t believe they cut out the scene in the book where Rhaenyra argues with Viserys and tells him that Laenor is gay and “would prefer her half brothers” and then Viserys tells her if she doesn’t marry him he’ll change the heir succession. It’s both Viserys and Laenors parents’s fault that Rhaenyra was forced to have bastard children. How else was she gonna have kids if her husband is gay and they even tried having sex and it still didn’t work?

I honestly only liked him in this show. I never understood this alicent vs rhaenyra fight by fans. I dislike both of them. I see them both as lil bitches, one is an uptight arse the other is an entitled and selfish lil shite. I dislike daemon, I dislike most of the children. I don't even know if I want to watch season 2 to be honest. I know they will kill of the remaining 2 characters I somewhat like. Well, I guess I gotta see how things go, but considering they announced they make season 2 shorter, I expect nothing good. As is usual with HBO, whenever they make such changes, all it becomes is a pile of poopoo.

In a way yes, she was the current queen. And at the time nobody was really sure if Nyra was even heir (tho of course she was) and at this point they were still sorta friends so it wasn’t necessarily a terrible thing.
