In my last video, I have reviewed about the iBell DVD player, which didn't work as expected hence I did return it to Amazon and got timely refund from them.
After that, I purchased another DVD player TT Target (this too from Amazon only but different seller) which is almost same of the iBell DVD player except the Target one has in-built speaker which is an added advantage.
The product came here a couple of days back, and it's working fine after testing last two days. Of course, I did check with Audio CD's and not with video CD's.
In fact, I purchased this new DVD players only for listening old songs (I have many CD collections which were lying for the last few years) including devotional songs.
Though, the players come with an inbuilt speaker, I have connected the system to two stereo speakers which were lying here for many years (removed from my old LG two-in-one stereo). It's working fine, with better stereo sound than the in-built speakers sound.
There is an on/off switch for the speakers, i.e. if I have to connect/listen from external speakers then this switch has to put off so that the in-built speaker will be in off condition and external speaker will function.
I did not check other functions like mic and video playing etc. as my primary requirement was listening audio CDs.
So far so good - will report if any problem comes up later.

Without mentioning the problem, I have asked the service center to check the steering column if all okay as I get some sounds etc. They said all perfect. So, I didn't bother much after that. The sound comes only after the vehicle is parked direct under the sun more than one/two hours. It goes on its own after some time. I have asked one private workshop about this sound and his opinion it can be of many reasons like low power steering fluid, problem with a bearing and bushings in the steering column etc. Definitely, it cannot be both the above reasons because the sound occurs only when the vehicle parked directly under the sun and not always.
Review update: The DVD player worked well for one day and then the power button started giving trouble and finally dead. Complained to Amazon, and they immediately agreed to refund. The courier guy came yesterday and collected the pack, and Amazon already initiated the refund. Thanks, Amazon, for their quick action.
Does it have a pre-out for amplifier-subwoofer?
I am not sure. It's a long time now, hence not remembering the full features, but I think pre-out for subwoofer is not there in this system.
Music entertainment not installation 😅
Update: Energy meter fitted on 2nd June And finally, the net meter fitted by KSEB today, i.e on 5th June 2024. Started the procedures on 5th March and completed the connection on 5th June 2024. Have asked the installer to upload the documents so that they can process for the subsidy amount. Thanks.
Nothing happened all these days and my wait still continues..😠 The energy meter number which installed in my place is different than the test certificate number issued for it. So Assistant Engineer (KSEB) refused to fit the Net Meter as promised. Since then i.e. for the last 13 days we have been waiting for a new Energy meter which according to the installer not available in stock. Even they have no idea when it will be available. Truly dissatisfied with the whole system where people are interested to install solar panels, however meters are not made available. ??
Another update: Finally got a news that I was allotted a Net Meter from KSEB (I was told that they received 2 Net meters and the 2nd guy in priority line already bought a meter from private source and installed hence the next chance was given to me by the KSEB). KSEB Sub-Engineer came this morning and inspected the installation etc. and told me that most probably the meter will be fitted tomorrow. Any some relief for this long waiting. Shall come back after installing the Net meter. Thanks
Update: Unfortunately, have been waiting for Net Meter since 6th March and no idea when KSEB will release a box to me. No hope in the near future, at least before monsoon to enjoy the solar power. Heard that there are thousands of people who have installed solar panels since last 3 months and have been waiting for the Net Meter.!!
Latest news: Have been waiting for Net meter since last 12/14 days. Since KSEB do not have stocks have ordered from private shop guys, but they too have shortage because KSEB delaying giving test report on the meters. According to information, there is no coordination from KSEB (looks like they don't want to get people enjoy the solar power and as such we don't know when we will get the net meter?? May be by the time we get the Net meter installed, the monsoon may start here!
Another update: Submitted all documents with KSEB local office and Paid Rs.3600 as their fees for processing the application (Solar Grid Registration fees: Rs.3000 + GST). They don't have Net meter in stock. 3 people already waiting since January 2024 that means no net meter supplied since Jan 2024 and they don't know when it is made available. Since I don't want to wait more days further waiting for the net meter, I have asked the installer to purchase Net meter from open market which mostly will get within this week. Shall keep you posted further developments.
Update as of today: Finally, got the Feasibility approval today. Now we have to submit the installation details and apply/request for Net Meter.
Another update: After waiting one month, got some response from MNRE. Now they sent a report to local KSEB office which reads as ''assigned to Sub Office for Feasibility Check on 05-03-2024'' Now, KSEB office has to confirm the feasibility approval to MNRE who then will reconfirm the feasibility approval. Once this is done, we can complete the installation and submit the installation report to MNRE for further process.
Another update: Checked with RTS (Roof Top Solar system) support team who advise as under - " Request you to please wait for the process to finish''. In addition, I have checked with other sources and was told that ''wait for few days as upgradations is in progress''. However, no one knows when the things will start work.?
Some update: Registered with MNRE and applied for 3KW solar system on 5th March 2024. KSEB has given the feasibility approval on 15th March but as on date haven't received the feasibility approval from MNRE. e-Token from MNRE confirming my eligibility for the Government subsidy of Rs.78,000 was received on 20th March. I have written to their support team who sent me an email message which reads as - ''Request you to please wait for the process to finish''. No idea when they will give the Feasibility approval and when the system will start working and finally how many days it will take to get the subsidy amount?. Understand many other people also suffering this kind of delay especially in getting the feasibility approval from MNRE. Has anyone had difference kind of experience - please share here. Thanks
Guaranteed min 4 units per kWh in good sunlight conditions. But I was told some people gets 5 units or even more per Kw. I will report how much I am going to get once it is fully commissioned (KSEB inspection and fitting of Net-metre work is pending).

Thanks Not the OEM central console. I already fitted a Blaupunkt touch screen Head Unit to which the back and front camera has been connected. ( The output RCA of the Camera connected to the input of AV IN of the Blaupunkt HU) Back camera with voice direction activate when reverse gear is engaged (usual back camera function). To activate the front camera I have to click the ''A/V IN'' icon in the system menu of HU and the camera will be on. But the problem is that once the front camera is on, the radio will not function. There was another option given in order not to disturb the radio function - use front camera, coupled with a DPST switch to toggle between reverse camera input and front camera (2nd terminal in DPST is to trigger the signal to HU to switch to reverse camera mode) I was not much interested in going for this option ie, fitting an additional switch on the dashboard and do a fresh wiring from both the cameras, etc.

It's still there, only happens during or after heavy rain seasons. A couple of days driving solves the problem. May be the vehicle has been mostly idle at home since the Covid-19 pandemic and weather changes causing these kind of problems!
