Not only did it create authoritarian, repressive societies, where crime was institutionalized, but it also cost us the truth, by hiding it from us for centuries! I do not know where you get the idea that there ever was a secular humanist society? We have never had a secular humanist society. Most of the West with the exception of the EU and Scandinavia are still living largely under either the yoke or the thrall of religion. The problems that you are attributing to secular humanism are more due to political decisions than anything to do with secular humanism. You've just found yourself a false scapegoat for all the world's problems. Where would we be if we had followed religion all these years? We would still think that everything revolves around the Earth and you wouldn't be washing your hands with soap after you took a sh*t. Great, just great! Yeah, let's go back to that. No thanks! These fallacious religions have held us back for centuries. We cannot go back to their lies. They have failed us! Our job is to find a new meaning without religion and it is not hard to do. Life, the Earth and the universe are still amazing and beautiful in their own right. Your problem is that you can't imagine a good world without these primitive, brutal and fallacious beliefs that you were sold on as a child. There is no evidence whatsoever for these fantasy sky-gods and all the claims made about life, the Earth, and the universe in the allegedly "holy" Abrahamic scriptures (e.g. Tora, Tanakh, Bible, Qu'ran, Hadiths, etc.) were dead wrong. Science has DISPROVEN their claims and offered up sound evidence, that their claims are simply false! Genesis, the foundation and cornerstone of all the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) has been knocked into a cocked hat! If the first chapter of your magic book is completely false, then there is no need to read further or to continue believing in this shite. I was a good Christian for half of my life and I can see there is really just nothing to it at all. The three Abrahamic religions are, contrary to popular belief, three steaming, stinking heaps of man-made monkey-dung!
