You here on Vegas, that's was up 👍 I have a red one too, but bone stock😬
Did you have an issue with the foam cannon?
No issues. It just doesn't foam as well as a nice cannon would and the adjustment knob really doesn't do anything
Okay, what happens when you extract that stuff?
@@fantasyskeep so I ended up pressure washing 90% of it out. The carpet had a green ish color too it. If I had done it correctly, I’m not sure what would happen

Great vid, thanks for posting this. 1 question: the small, blue and green single wire coming from the left behind the cluster plugs into the green adapter on the back fits into 3 different plugs right next to each other (on that adapter). Which one does it plug into? I've got a Motometer IC.

Do not cut off the surge protector!
@@usapaw5700 if the surge protector goes bad, how would you replace it without cutting it off?
It would have been cheaper to get replacement carper at 12-15$ a can and labor. I did a car carpet just like you and at the end paint coat about 150$ and my labor it would have been cheaper for my client and less trouble for me
I do not recommend messing with the camber and no toe adjustment. The tq steer is more noticeable because you messed up the alignment worse than it already was. If the wheel is crooked, the alignment is off.
@@alexfuentes3468 I get a track alignment before each season, some times twice a season. But my car also makes close to stock power so the torque steer is very manageable lol but you’re right

A shop told me today my water pump is going out... My car has been through a lot and had coolsnt coming out of two lines by the oil filter place and i sent it to a shop anf they told me the water pump is foing out vut i dont hear screeching, see an active leak near the water pump but thet said its coming through a weep hole in it and i know whwt that is but how can you evem tell without removing the side of everything to see the water pump?
@@tannerlittle2606 it sounds like the oil cooler (which is the Finned thing the oil filter attaches to) might be leaking. A lot of people delete the oil cooler for that reason.

The correct product to dye a carpet is RIT Synthetic. This is the one to dye polyester, nylon, and acrylic. Additionally, it requires at least four paint coats to recover the same color; you are changing the color, so it needs more paint coats.
I got to tell you I found you while I was looking for replacement pans for my BMW not that I could put them in myself and I saw how easy you make it look to get it done. Your video randomly popped up and as a Vegas local, I had to watch. Fellow car enthusiast as well. I sold my ss several years ago prior to moving here so I personally haven't discovered many roads to take a nice drive. I do recommend the drive up to Mt Charleston, it's a nice view up there and a slight change in scenery from the desert landscape. Also, be careful when you drive through Boulder hwy, the cops are always pulling drivers over for speeding, lol. Currently car shopping for another sports car so I can finally explore the backroads out here.
I appreciate the boulder hey advise. I guess I'll slow down lol. Everyone drives SO SLOW... it's unreal. But I have been to Mt Charleston once in my truck. I do plan on taking my car soon. What kind of car are you shopping for?

Liking the SRT content. Yeah once or twice a year when we go out west to Cali it's nice to ride around because you can actually see the terrain of the mountains and hills without all the greenery like we have here in the southeast. Don't get me wrong, I like the trees and all, but enjoy the change in scenery.
@@landonmccollum1929 I appreciate it! And yea coming from the north east we have tons of greenery but the south west is just a nice change.
You know it's a good day when another SRT-4 POV video comes out. Also, is that an older HKS SSQV? I used to have an older one that sounded like that until I upgraded to the SSQV4.
Damn right! And I actually made a BOV block off plate so im running no BOV.

Thanks brother! The views are crazy for sure. Congrats on your little one too!

Looks like no one installed garage door stop on your door. I would try that it nails on the outside of the door and seals that gap by way of a piece of flexible vinyl
@@e1casper damn I’m 100% gonna look into that. I appreciate it!
I did something similar in South Tennessee and saw that my electric bill went up by almost 50%. What is your electric bill like after running this 24/7?
@@docyt idk yet it haven’t had it for more than a week. I hope it’s not 50% higher though lol it says it cost .60 a day to run or something like that. Not that that’s accurate but still
I am thinking about doing this and have decided to vent the exhaust up to the attic. Just going to mount the exhaust hose to the sheet of drywall that covers the attic opening and cut a hole in it. Going to see if i can make a quick disconnect for it and a cover to block it off when not using.
@@jasunto that’s going to be the best and easiest option by a long shot. I don’t have an attic above mine so that’s a no go unfortunately lol
How’s it working?
@@Iflyfpv760 it works good. When it’s 110+ out the garage stays around 83-85 degrees
A swamp cooler portable ac type works well in low humdity
@@bobbys2160 that’s what I’ve heard. This was on sale so it was the cheaper option lol
Doesn’t your garage have 1 or 2 vents on the side wall venting to the outside. I live in Vegas and I thought all garages had to have these vents. If so I’d cut a hole through that vent for your hose. When you’re not using the AC, just cover the space with a piece of ply wood or screen.
Mine does not have a vent. Im 100% sure about that. Maybe it's because my house in brand new? Idk lol its my first time living not in the north east.
Think about buying sheets of insulation foam to insulate the door, there is a lot of radiant heat from the door
@@Rcmiller the door is factory insulated. It actually does a great job of keeping heat out. It’s cool to the touch when it’s 100 out
I tried this with my portable ac unit and it will not blow cold in the garage. Soon as I bring it inside the house it starts blowing cold again. Not sure if its because it has some temp switch thats not allowing it to turn on the compressor because its too hot or not
If you're restricting the flow of the exhaust just a little too much that will happen. It did the same thing to me initially.
I did this a month or two ago on a whim to see if it would work. I had a portable sitting around. I used a dryer vent in my garage to exhaust the hot air.
That's what I need but I cant drill a hole in the house lol. Im going to try and make something to help distribute the air more effectively.
Insulating your garage door might help more than anything.
@@pdmark311 the door is already insulated. It actually does a great job at keeping the heat out.
Two things. Get a 12-16inch vent duct to adapt the AC hose. Second get a 4x4 or 2 as the base you're door is resting on.
@@pdmark311 so I have planned on running the 2x4 method but haven’t had time to do it lol. And yea the exhaust does need to be made longer and a little more effective. I’m also planning on insulating the hose because it gets crazy hot.
How well does the exhaust work since you have it smashed down a little? I've been thinking about doing this myself.
@@bakerman2222 it works perfectly as long as you seal the rest of the door and don’t squish it too much. I closed the door too much one time and the AC unit just stops blowing cold air. I do plan on trying to make something to go from The round tube to a long flat one but that will be an “eventually” project.
@@zackellis23I had a 4x8 lumbar with a 3 inch vent cap in it . Duct 6 inch to 3 inch convert . You can wrap the lumber with a cheap Amazon garage under door seal and boom semi permanent solution. It's portable , the door travel might need adjustment
@@l1f07bscs0035 that’s was my exact plan just havent had time to make it happen. I was thinking of just pulling the door release cord so the door just rests on the wood. Idk yet though
