Isinwheel S10 Plus Scooter Dashboard Controls And App Functions
Thank you. I have the AC180. Would any MC4 to 8mm cable be adequate ? I don't think Bluetti sells one.
I have a couple Amazon ones that seem to work fine. Just check they are good for 10A.
How odd that the paralleling panel at 14:27 has breakers two 50 amp breakers, two 30 amp breakers and one 80 amp breaker.
Good eye! Yes, it’s a mock up… Those are Siemens breakers and the main is an Eaton. Production version will have Bluetooth and WiFi also, which I did not see inside.
Nice review. And thanks for being a blood donor.
Thank you for noticing!! I have migrated to platelets the last couple years. I actively try to wear the wear the shirts in videos to promote donation.
I bought 8 of these 4 with BMS VERSION 2.0 and 4 with the original 1.0 Has anyone figured how to do a firmware upgrade on these. I also have these connected to a bus bar setup with longer cables all the same size and the dip switches and communication set up as per instructions. They all discharge at different levels, never the same
There is a thread of DIYSolarforums where some have managed to communicate with a PC, but I have not seen or heard about firmware update or setting changes being successful.
At the 16:19 mark you said you were working on the panel hot, and only in the lower section, BUT, at the 15:23 mark I almost had a heart attack when you were attaching your ground and neutral wires, and HAD YOUR HAND NEAR THE HOT BAR!!! Those "bars" that your breakers snap onto are HOT! Unless I am missing something, this should be made more clear for those that are unaware!
This is true but I was farther away from the energized bussing than the depth of field on the camera shows. The metal teeth looking vertical parts hold the back of the breakers and are ground with no risk, the energized bussing is a very narrow strip down where the two rows of breakers meet in the panel. I would encourage everyone to avoid doing energized work.
You need to do Pro Baker 7+ vs food processor.
Great idea.
Did I hear split phase? As in 240V? That would make it a lot more compact than needing 2x AC300 units plus the P030A.
Yes, 120/240 split phase!
How are they connected? Show us the wires
Standard P090D cables work, or new 90 degree jumpers they showed in a video presentation, but do not have here.
I agree the cable setup is simple and made to be flexible. AOlithium did not do a good job of simplifying the language. Will was really passionate about the cable size but really most people with a single 6kW inverter are fine with the daisy-chain. I chose to run sets of 2 packs with the parallel cables and longer cables per each set of 2. overkill for my setup of a single 6kW inverter and ~50A max.
100%. If you are building your own system you need to be aware of maximum amp draw and design accordingly.
Thanks for the video.... KitchenAid had been on a downward spiral in the last 10+ years and I'm really ready to ditch them.
Mine is great for everything but heavy dough.
-The head unit label has Wh does that mean built in battery? - hard to make out what it says above the PV input is that 25amp 4000w? max - only 1 battery port instead of 2, does that mean less batteries supported?
Yes, internal battery! And still AC300/500 size. 60V MPPT input. There were two XT60 ports. Maybe 1000W each, not confirmed. We were told there is an accessory coming. Yes one expansion port, 6 batteries+ internal storage!
@@DougKremer thanks! But downgrading the mppt inputs is a huge disappointment and kills this as an upgrade option from an AC 300\500
@ I agree, but I’m told there is a high power MPPT input accessory coming.
Need more info!
It is the first 120/240V power station.
How many batteries of the three different models can connect to it?
Up to six external batteries!
@ So it supports the same number of external batteries as the AC500-same amount of external storage, then?
@@jamesmorrowcjjames6327 Seems so, + one battery worth in the head unit itself.
Could you have charged it at the rated 10amps ? i believe you charged at 5amps over night?
Yes, I could have charged it much faster if desired.
I’m sold
Spiral mixers are a whole different thing.
30+ minutes to knead. Never saw a recipe calling for that amount of time. Some worry about the dough temperature.. Rich
Yes, I started with frozen flour and ice slush water. The point of this is extended sloppy dough sounds and visuals, it is not a howto on the best way to build a dough. I usually do a dough in 7-10 minutes.
was this the amazon bundle or the bluetti bundle. I wondering for what chords are sent
Bluetti bundle.
I have had nothing but problems, malfunctions, poltergeist like reliability since I BOUGHT my Bluetti. Salmonella visited me twice when it failed to keep my portable fridge cold. Hope you have better luck and if you are using it off grid hope you have a backup system. IMHO I would not take another chance use it to power any lifesaving devices or mission critical ones. Hmm I wonder when Bluetti will be relegated to being sod on Temu.
What unit are you having issues with? My AC200L, AC300, and AC500 have been flawless in 24x7 operation.
Thanks mate.
You're welcome!
How much was shipping?
It was included with my purchase.
So when it was all said and done, did you pay about 1400 USD?
@ I bought it on their old USA website (kysprobaker.com) on 10/1/2024 for 799 USD with included slow boat shipping, it arrived on 11/1. Since then they have merged the sites, introduced a bunch of new models, and rearranged prices and shipping options.
Hey thanks! I went to that website and got it for 899.00, way cheaper. So excited, I'm starting up a pizza food truck. Thanks for your time!!
did your mixer come with a lot of black stuff on it? i had to use barkeeprs friend to get some off the rod.
Wow, no. It was completely clean.
Nice video, well done. I'm hoping i can get one here in Australia, just waiting for a reply from an email that i sent a couple of days ago to KYS. Any idea on max flour amount for a higher hydration, eg 70% or 80%.
So I did 3Kg flour there at 60%. And it seemed to have plenty of room left, I think 70% would be no problem. I might try 80% just to see.
Still no email reply from KYS!@@DougKremer
Nice video and informative. Whta is the lowest flour volume you can use? I would like to make 600 g flour batches if possible so that is about 975 g of dough weight when finished at 65% hydration.
It’s rated for 500g minimum at 60%, so 800g minimum dough. I've done several 1Kg batches with no problem.
Are you glad you purchased the 7 instead of the smaller 5?
There was no option when I ordered it. At that time the 7+ was the only 120V/60Hz model. Now that there are others available I think the 5 would have met my needs just fine also.
Thanks for making the videos. It help me purchase the KYS 7+ Easy which arrived a couple of days ago. I had no problem with maximum batch sizes. The mixer just cranks right through large batches. On a side note I have been wanting a dust cover for the mixer when not in use. Do you happen to have any ideas on that, it would be nice to find something that fits.
I’m glad you are enjoying it as I am! I have not found one yet. KYS did have one on the old site as an accessory.
Thank you. I am seriously considering a Kys Easy 7+. I’m stuck between it and the Famag 5S. Some have suffered breakdowns on the Kys. Can you share your honest opinion on your Kys?
I have only had it two months and it has been flawless so far.
Super. Szkoda, że w Polsce jeszcze niedostępny.
Sorry, maybe soon.
Why does the dough keep climbing up the spindle? Design flaw? I would find that annoying? Please advise!
It’s because of the way I’m hydrating it, to maximize sounds for the video. I waited too long to start adding more water and the starch started gelling, which slows down absorption. When I add water the spinning dough starts squeezing on the center and pushing it up. This hasn’t been an issue in my normal dough making.
Microwave dry gas swamcooler video nature gen toman review
That is an interesting combination.
Price of battery
Yes. Check the link. Good sale right now.
I also just did this in a recessed setup like you have. Just fyi, if drywall is going up, you wont be able to have the 90 pull elbow behind the drywall. Instead i put a 1 1/4" hole in the side of the switch and side of the panel, running a nipple from one to the other directly through the stud and didnt need extra conduit. Inspector gave me the thumbs up and much easier to get the wires over.
That is a great tip!
Завораживает, смотрел не отрываясь. Давай ещё таких видео. В описании напиши количество ингредиентов. Молодец без всякой болтовни.
Thank you.
You are the reason I bought one, but how long does it take to receive from initial order date?
I ordered on 10/1/2024 with the lower price free slow boat shipping, it arrived four weeks later on 11/1.
Does this panel automatically switch when the power goes out?
It does not, all the switches are manual. I use it fulltime to run those circuits off the Bluetti as a UPS which gets most of its energy from solar and uses grid as backup.
Doug, in your experience with/the KYS, do you feel that the friction is a problem?
Friction of what type?
What is the app you’re using at the beginning of the video that show icons for: add device, my devices, Bluetooth, scan, etc.?
It is the Bluetti app.
Did you order direct from KYS?
I did. Ordered on 10/1 and delivered on 11/1.
@@DougKremer Did you try to place water first, then flour?
@ I have before, not sure which I prefer.
Every time I see your hand approaching that speed button you make me nervous!😂😂 I have a pro machine 8 kg flours two speeds. at 11.00 time you should still be going slow and wait to add water! Bassinage goes very slowly. When you reach a perfect pumpkin shape start adding water step by step waiting reshaping the pumpkin aspect! But check constantly the dough temperature. In my tropical temperature I add cubes of ice instead of cold water!😂 Nice tutorial video.
Yeah, for this I was more focused on the sounds and visuals and not so much correctly building the dough. I normally hydrate much faster and have had good results with that, basically riding the edge of it coming into the pumpkin. Once the dough starts getting shiny it doesn’t like to take on water so well. I often do hydrate with cubes. Here I was pouring an ice slush mixture from my blender.
I just go my pro baker 7+ easy, says minimum 500g flouer, but all ending upp inn the hok. Need atlest 1000g to get propper kneeding 😢
I’ve had good luck with 1kg total dough and above.
What do you think about kys pro baker 5, do you think it could handle 500gr of flour
@ I think it is rated for 300 minimum.
Great video. I read the specs on the 7+ but I’ve wondered about the actual minimum capacity since changing my original order for the KYS Pro Baker 5 to the KYS Pro Baker Easy 7+. I will have mine in 6 days, hopefully.
I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed your video of minimum and maximum dough. Your video on the Kitchenaid vs KYS was instrumental in my decision to purchase KYS. I just received my 7+ and made first pizza dough about an hour ago. I had the same problem of the dough riding up the breaker bar until I figured out how to hydrate the dough to minimize or prevent it happening. I see in your newer videos you have figured it out also. These machines take a little time to understand but well worth it. The finished product is excellent.
Riding up the breaker was the result of hydrating too slowly for the purpose of extending the video. I’ve figured out that up to about 65% I can put all the water in at once. More than that and I do the 65% water, and juuust before it all comes together I can drizzle in the rest to keep it on the edge. Once it goes shiny adding water will cause the center to extrude up the bar.
@@DougKremer Yes, I found that initial 55% hydration worked and added the remaining water slowly, but consistently. I also have contacted KYS about moving the breaker bar closer to the spiral. I do not know if the bar is adjustable. I am awaiting a reply and hope to hear from them in early January after the holidays. If not, I may remove the breaker bar and have a machine shop extend the bolt holes on the bar filling in behind to keep them mounted without movement.
@ I think Famag has two swappable bars for their machines, one closer for smaller batches.
Emailed KYS asking when or if the easy 5 will come to the US market and they said they are working on it.
Yes! I believe it is on their website as coming soon.
Happy birthday Gramps
LOL!
Maximum total dough with this machine? It happens that the dough will come up in the hook?
Maximum per the manual is 4.8Kg/10.6Lbs. I am editing a video right now showing both the minimum and maximum batch sizes being made. It should publish tonight or tomorrow, stay tuned!
@@DougKremerthanks, It is a good machine? Any problem with dough climbing the hook?is the distance hook bar very small?
I have found at batches under 1Kg that it will tend to get stuck on the hook a bit. The gap is about 3/8"
Thanks for sharing, maybe for a domestic use Kys 5 will be better choice
@ All depends on how small of a batch you need to make.
Thanks for the vid! Can the Charger 1 be used to charge car batteries using a power station as the source? Can two Charger 1s be used simultaneously, connected to a single power station that can handle the input? Thanks!
Charger1 is a variable voltage power supply, not a battery charger. It would not be a good choice for that. could you parallel two into the solar input of a power station that can accept >10A I suppose so, if your alternator can handle 100A output.
@@DougKremer The Ecoflow Alternator Charger is a similar device to the Bluetti Charger 1, in that they are both "alternator chargers". The Ecoflow supports "reverse charging", which they describe as such: "Recharge your vehicle starter battery or RV house battery using your portable power station."
The Ecoflow does support that. It is a very specific accessory that only works with a couple of their powerstations and no others courtesy of its proprietary connector and data interface, the Bluetti D40 connected to an AC200L will do similar vehicle battery charging from the powerstation. Or you could just use a 12V car charger plugged into any powerstation. The Charger1 was made specifically to be near universal in its ability to charge powerstations at high rates, regardless of brand.
How much does the scooter really travel
I do not understand the question.
I wonder if this charger one can charge an agm house battery
It is effectively a DC power supply, not a battery charger. You can charge batteries with a power supply though if set properly. Charger1's lowest voltage setting is 15V and in 1V increments only, not very suitable as a battery charger.
@DougKremer thx. I thought DC charger (plugged to starter battery) could charge an AGM battery when the van is running like they do with Lithium batteries... maybe the min 15V is too high for AGM?
@@patricksenecal1766 Charger1 is meant for higher voltage input into a solar controller. For the purpose you describe I would look into a DC/DC charger.
@DougKremer ok thx Doug
I got another question. Do you think i could get this charger one, plugged for a power station AND keeping my actual setup with cable from alternator to charge my agm battery? Would that be too much for the alternator? Thx
in your opinion what is the max number of flour cups KYS can handle? do you think it can handle 25 cups?thanks
The 7+ is rated for 3000g/6.6lbs of flour at 60% hydration. At 120g per cup that is exactly 25 cups of flour. I may have to get a big bag of the cheapest flour I can find and see what it will do.
