This game was the only reason I ever made any money off TH-cam, back before the adpocalypse. Those videos got tens of thousands of views while my others got at most hundreds. Back then if you wanted to watch a lets play of this game you had three options: FangShaymin, some screetchy kid pointing his mom's camera at the TV, or me. And I had an EasyCap.

the secret rings controls were rpugh but i thought the game was surprisingly polished. I see it as the precursor to the modern style sonic levels we first saw in unleashed

This Game is actually my favorite. The original too. It made me enjoy bakugan more but I can see difficulties as a reason why you don't like the game

I love the battle brawlers game, I wish they would remake it with a better story and more bakugan. And man, Leonidas was AWESOME.

I think s2 is better, but the games I think battle brawlers was better.

This game truly blows the HD version out of the water, its not even funny. No idiotic medal collecting, no plane levels, no constantly having to talk to professor pickle just to progress, they actually had the foreseight to split the werehog into mutliple acts, the final boss isnt a tedious mess. And of course, this take on the boost is so much more interesting, actually forcing you to think about meter management, actions chains, real 3D gameplay, and when you want to use and save the boost. Dimps really got on their shit and showed Sonic Team how much they fucked up with their Unleashed.

I think the game would have benefited from prioritizing shadow and rouge a bit more in the dark story. Even though there aren't that many more eggman stages, they get really long and it makes it feel like they overpower the other playstyles

I just keep coming back to this video for someone reason . After I played the reboot game with , I realized that defenders of the core is masterpiece compared to the reboot . But here’s another idea I have that could’ve made this story better . We create a new character , we are actually a vexos in this game and we get recruited by spectra to help him track down Dan . We get a new partner bakugan that’s a Crocodile 🐊like type of baukgan similar to that of shadow’s baukgan . The player becomes close with spectra similar to how the player became close Dan in the first game , this new friendship with spectra would make the other members jealous especially Mylene , she would then challenge the player to a battle and the player would destroy her in the battle , our character would then become spectra’s right hand , we would also grow closer with shadow , we make progress capturing key resistance members , near the end of the game , we would then fight the first protagonist from the first game in a all out showdown . You would be able to choose who you want to play as either the protagonist from the first game or the protagonist of this game . If you play as the protagonist from the first game . Then you and leonides will defeat the vexos wants and for all and save earth 🌍 ! . If you chose the protagonist of this game then you will beat the player of the first game and Leonides . And will conquer the world 🌎 and baukgan home world , the game would end with the vexos king making you general of his new baukgan army . This is just my opinion on a better story . Let me know your thoughts .

My biggest problem is I loved Leonidas and wanted to use it again or some equivalent of a unique replacement with references to the old game and for the choice for a female character. I also hate how we are forced to use drago not everyone likes Drago I for one prefer Darkus so even using reaper would’ve been cool

Not gonna lie, when i bought this game on Steam, i was pretty hyped. Course rhe hype died down when i started playing and something i never realized is how difficult it is to master this game. Still a fun game overall, and i enjoyed Sonic and Tails the most out of all of them. (Shadow and Eggman stages included)

I do like both Pokémon and Bakugan in my opinion

I used to play this game back on the PS3 and I absolutely loved it. Now that was a few years ago, and I didn't really know what "Bakugan" was. All I knew is that I got to play as a giant dragon and fight other monsters LMAO I think Imma try getting it on an Emulator to replay the game again! I've just recently got into emulation and such, and I might aswell start with one of my fav childhood classics. Anyway, great video man! Loved seeing this game pop up in my recommended!

Dang I did not expect people to dislike Sonic And The Secret Rings. I think. As much as I love that game, I respect your opinion.

I only had two problems with this game. The voice actors were not the same as the ones from the anime/BB game, so they often felt awkward and, personally, some VAs did not suit their roles whatsoever. The other problem was _that_ daylight battle in Egypt. The one with an army of metal fencers and their laser beams which you can’t block and always send you flying across the map 😭

This game is a flaming pile of dogcrap. I beat it like 3 years ago and it was my least favourite videogame of all time. Beat it 3 days ago cause I’m playing through every mainline sonic game (yes I count secret rings and black knight as mainline) and it is STILL the same steaming pile of dogcrap I thought 3 years ago. 1/10 being generous. I do have a newfound respect for the soundtrack but that’s it. Kinda weird though cause black knight is one of my favourite sonic games of all time

As a show I will agree Bakugan is better than Pokemon however if in context we're trying to battle the idea Bakugan Battle Brawlers the game being better than Pokemon I'd disagree, though the game mechanics can be quite interesting, along with the story and creation of leonitas very compelling overall, I think looking back there are things that are very cliche, cheap, and low budget to the Battle Brawlers game. Even though older pokemon games have the same vibe where they can be cliche or the pixel art isn't the greatest especially with Pokemon yellow looking more low quality than the other versions of the same gen(red, blue, green) I'd battle that they still have a better budget, with all things considered. I played the battle brawlers game when it first came out and I think nostalgically it's a great game but going back to it is a bit rough because one of the dislikes i have for the game that could be seen as minor is the fact that when creating a character you can't choose to be female for some reason which is odd, considering the main battle brawlers team has 3 females, (julie, runo, and alice), and the second one would be it didn't represent well how a battle should feel or be. Shows like Pokemon, Yugioh, etc. are all shows that are based off a strategy game, with strategy mechanics, and for each of their representative games translate well from show to game however, for the bakugan battle brawler game does not, and would have wished for the bakugan battle brawler game to have represented the in game mechanics we saw in the show, as well saw it to be a combination of digimon and yugioh, combining card game mechanics with the story being more similar to digimon, the mechanics felt kind of off, where you'd just spin the ball around the arena and most of the times you'd just wunna skip those mechanics and get to the fight -- but the fights also felt lack luster as there was no real strategy, I understand this was way long ago and the opponents are npcs, however the fights should have some sort of strategy, and not just activate your most powerful attack and win, this is ofc my piece and feel free to disagree with how I view it.

I wish Shadow had more stages. The entire Space Colony Ark stages were utterly frustrating with the level design and bugs.

huh, i played the nintendo ds version and the story was very different
