You and me both!! I hadn’t played any in so long though! It’s been really nice to pick up a console again 😂 oooo I can’t wait either! Zelda is always magic! Cozy games are where it’s at! Definitely think they count as therapy such mindfulness at times- I never did play animal crossing but so many seem to love it, I might need to give it a go! There seems to be a lot of cool cozy indie games around now so I’m sure you’ll have no trouble finding some. Awwwww , honestly it was such a kerfuffle trying to get it myself - I reckon some will come up for a cheaper price again eventually or you could trade for it if you really want it as I’m not sure how many will use it as a readable deck if you get what I mean , I think to marry each yokai with the card meaning will take some study and diving into each card. I hear you on the Shimmering Veil - that’s partly why I put off getting it for so long, it’s definitely more of a deep diver I reckon. Some of the images I just couldn’t pass up and it called out to me so maybe we need to do that deep work together this year haha Oooo you’re getting me even more excited and the prospect of this honeycomb shelf now, thinking how I can add all my nick nacks and some fairy lights! And omg yes the bubble bee jasper would just be the cherry on top ! When it gets made I’ll try and film some of the process! I wanna try my hand at making some poly resin “doors” for some of the shelves in like honey colours (we’ll see how it goes! 🙈😂) And it’s decided! We’re officially accountability buddies now! In the spirit of honesty I’ve already slipped this year I can’t lie 🙈😂 but I’ve made a list of the decks I can get as a treat perhaps and gonna try and not sway from the few on there. Sorry for the late reply, I completely missed this somehow! 🙈 thank you so much for your kind words and support of this channel as always , it never ceases to make me smile to think I’ve managed to connect with people from all over the world on here , just through this little corner of TH-cam! Ooo I definitely have been considering filming my entire deck collection (definitely split up into categories or we’d be here all day! 🙈😂) so thank you for the encouraging suggestion! It seems our tarot journey is very similar! I definitely want to study it with more four and intent this year though myself, sounds like you’ve really been doing that already and that’s great! Hehe you’re right, I don’t want to be too hard on myself for buying decks but much like you I want to be more mindful , discerning and less impulsive this year - the deck overwhelm had become very real and it seemed to be affecting my practice (I couldn’t seem to pick what decks to use there was so many coming in at once! 🙈) I think I too have honed in on what decks I like now and I’m trying to give myself cool off periods before buying too- I think your monthly consideration is a great idea! You’ll have to let me know how it goes! This year i really want to get to know some of the decks I’ve already got in my collection better , get an idea of how we work together and maybe move some onto new homes in the process. I totally hear you on struggling to find a water deck that you can connect with, it would be nice to have some options outside of the ocean realm for sure, like water as an element or in its different forms. I think Marine from the Waves of your Soul was speaking about a new water deck she had that kind of did that, if I can remember what it’s called I’ll post you a link. I’ve always found Pisces to be quite a dreamy/magical sign - maybe a deck in line with that energy could be useful? I’m not sure how you feel about mermaids but they always seemed to marry that magical and water element to me. Lovely to have you here too and I shall! ☺️🌳💙

I very much am in support of the Disney Deck acquisition! 🙌🏻😂 Honestly, Ive been a bit quiet on the Studio Ghibli Deck front because i keep changing my mind on the type of art I want for it and the scene and character picks (plus life getting a bit full on 🙈😂) it’s been slow progress- studio Ghibli released free to use for personal use stills of a lot of the movies so I was going to use those but I’ve seen so many pretty water colour Ghibli images that I feel tempted to go with that instead. Honestly if I could draw/paint myself and had the time I’d probably do it that way but alas it’s not my forte 🙈😂 just putting it out there, if you ever took it upon yourself I would happily buy one from you! Sorry it’s taken a while to get back to these, the days really have been escaping me lately 🙈 I’m glad the categories were a hit , it kinda helps me to organise my practice like that so hopefully it’ll be helpful to others too and not just sound like me saying “buy these specific decks! 😂 🙌🏻 Awwww yes, the Playful Heart definitely seems like a good one for this kind of work, and I agree fairytale and animal decks can be really helpful allies through this work, some good and supportive energy to draw upon in those for sure . 100%! I’ve also been learning that in therapy , so many shadows formed in that time, when we feel able and supported it’s good to shine a light on them. Haha the Home Made Studio Ghibli deck is definitely a slow progress project 🙈😂 I keep changing my mind on what artwork to go with and what scenes to use , plus life had a very other priorities for me in recent months but I definitely will be asking you guys for your help and input when I get back to it! I’m glad this gave you some food for thought for your own potential inner child work , it’s always so lovely to see you here honestly. And honestly thank you for the feedback and the way you’ve handled it, I really do appreciate it and it actually was something I was getting a little self conscious about when listening back and editing myself 🙈 I have a chronic condition that really affects my upper digestive system (hence all the weird sounds and swallowing) and it really seems that the mic has been picking up on it 🙈😂 I shall definitely try experimenting with the mic and either try wearing it lower down or place it away from my person because I can totally understand how it could be distracting and off putting and I wouldn’t want that to detract from the content. I ramble on for sure but it’s a lot of fun and so cool to share in this with you all ☺️ Ooo I can totally see you getting on with both the Forhaxa and the Terra volatile for sure - especially the Forhaxa with your love for the fae and fairies, it’s got a depth and darkness to it that deck, and really draws on some palpable feminine energy , the more intense or maybe cast into shadow side within our societies that I think sometimes gets overlooked. I think you could get a lot from it. I’m sure they’ll come to you when the time is right 🙌🏻 Very true! (I have shit handwriting I can’t lie 🙈😂) and I’m happy using it as a more free flowing oracle atm but to make your own tarot is definitely doable. What deck were you looking to modify?
