Boundless is one of my favorites by far. It smells just like walking into one of those tobacco shops that they used to have in the mall back in the 1980s. It is my favorite Fall/Winter fragrance of all time. Xerjoff Naxos doesn't even come close to Amouage Boundless in my opinion. I love Boundless. However, your #1 is what I wear whenever I'm wearing a suit. Jubilation 40 for the Fall/Winter and Jubilation XXV for the Spring/Summer. I've also got a decant of Reflection 45 on order.

For anyone who doesn’t know or realise why parfums are being reformulated , it’s because lilial which is a note used to help its sillage and projection has been banned do loads of fragrances will be reformulated .IMO this doesn’t really matter as it’s usually replaced with a different note similar to Lilian which still makes it perform long enough.

I just bought naxos, to me it literally smells like a old granny.

I bought it since two days , I dnt knwo the older in order to compare , but the scent is very nice Longevity very good , but i doubt the projection to some extent , its decent but not enormous ,,,, i will give my self more time to judge the product well

Flew home for Christmas with 3 decants with me: Kilian Angels Share, TF Tobacco Vanille and TF Ombré Leather EDP. Been mostly feeling the Angels Share fits this season personally, but all are great!

I live in the Caribbean so I'll be wearing Penhaligon's Juniper Sling. It has a spicy Christmas cocktail vibe but it's still very fresh and works well in the heat/humidity

Boundless is on my list for the Holiday as well. Might wear it for Christmas Eve. Wonderful scent, I can understand why it’s lower on the Amouage list. It’s an easier wearing scent as opposed to so many heavy hitting, unique, Amouage. If you remove the expectation of the brand, it’s an absolutely amazing scent. I prefer it to my Tobacco Vanille. One I might pull out for Christmas Day is Rabanne 1 Million Golden Oud. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Need a whole video on “indoor” fragrances. Loud and obnoxious is not my style and it just seems like fragrances are to be enjoyed by those you get close to. Similar etiquette rules to headphones

Tommy Bahama St. Barts is the only cologne I ever actually returned. Pitiful longevity. Speaking about it in the same sentence with Creed's VIW is tantamount to frag heresy.

Great list! Enjoyed the bideo through and through. Love the houses of Amouage and Xerjoff. Creed I got a few but the performance is horrendous for the cost, unfortunately.

Excellent video Seth. I love your passion for the fragrances and your enthusiasm for life in general. It took me back to being in my 20s and that feeling that a fragrance can inspire ... the confidence they can give on a date and in the work place, plus that feeling of joy before heading out to a club. Interesting and nice to see that you placed Antaeus near the top of your list, as that was one that I used to wear regularly in the mid-1980s. Although, back then my favourite Chanel fragrance was Pour Monsieur. I think that is probably what is today referred to as a "Barbershop fragrance". I'm not sure about all the terminology, so I'm not sure. I've tried a few of the newer fragrances, but so far I'm more inclined towards the older, classics. That might change as I experience new ones and your video has certainly given me a good list of ones to try. Keep up the great videos and your enthusiasm. Liked and subscribed. 👍

Meander, Enclave, Purpose?

Back then, Creed was a holy benchmark to all designer fragrances showing them how a perfume should be blended at finest. I compare Creed to designers because Creed offers crowd pleasing easy-going fragrances and that is a basic aim for designers (pleasing and selling in high volumes). When buying a Creed bottle, you need to put your money only at 75/120ml bottles. The new ones are not worth..

The "newer" one, as you call it, with almost no juice left in it, is the older, pre-reformulated Naxos from 2021. The 21 at the end of the batch code tells you what year it was manufactured. The darker juice, the bottle that is FULL, is a 2023, post-reformulation bottle.

I know what you're talking about with Black Iris. It is very serious and very posh. It smells like aristocracy. Hard to pull this one off in a casual setting.

Gucci guilty elixir is almost a dupe of reflection man, but the gucci performs better.

interlude black iris, boundless, royal tobacco, and overture are the best amouage fragrances by far. Some reviewers look at boundless as how it relates to the art and craft of the house of amouage rather than its value as a stand alone fragrance and they spread their influence over other reviewers who also subconsciously start ranking it low. The same thing is happening with epic man, which is another wonderful amouage. Please don't be influenced by others, they have their own point of view. Amouage has some terrible releases like Enclave or beach hut man, or figment, that are very weird and cannot be used as a fragrance unless you live in total seclusion from people, yet they are praised as works of art, which they are, but not for the purpose of wearing.

Sunshine Man reminds me of the little Banana shaped hard candy. I honestly love it. I can’t find it anywhere besides their website. So for the first time, I may pay full retail for a fragrance.

Did Amouage pay you to advertise their fragrances? You ridiculously love the brand. 😁

My girlfriend got me a vintage Egoiste bottle , one of the ones without an atomizer just the liquid and it is amazing! I plan to get BDC Edp or Parfum for the more professional occasions or as a dumb reach fragrance soon
