Watching Multiple Live News Channels in Firefox on a 1920x1080 display
I created a simple HTML script to display four live news channels from TH-cam at once. It is designed to work on a 1920x1080 display with Firefox in F11 full screen mode. I've created two HTML pages to be shown on two seperate monitors. It's a simple yet effective solution for any media outlet such as Newspapers as well as TV and Radio stations where live breaking news is important.

Sky Television (BSkyB) - Dealer / Retailer Information For The Launch of Multi-Channels 1993
Hi
I love a prank - especially a rude one - but I feel like these are not pranks, more a symptom of a mental health epidemic.
The one at 2:45 was a bit sad, just looking at the fellas reaction. But the last one was hilarious.
There was a fresh one on Jeremy Vine show yesterday...first I've heard in years.
It's not clever and it's very juvenile but omg it's hilarious 😂😂😂
So basically after the so-called merger little or nothing remained of BSB. The superior BSB D-MAC technology ditched. The BSB Marcopolo satellites flogged off. The BSB Now channel eliminated. The BSB Movie Channel more or less subsumed within Sky movies after a few months then vanished. The BSB Power Station axed. Hardly any of the BSB Galaxy programming used on Sky One. The BSB Headquarters of Marcopolo House flogged off. Most of the BSB staff sacked. Even the name BSB became BSkyB but would continue to be known as Sky to this day. And finally Murdoch flogged off his 39% of Sky to the American company Comcast - so I suppose its just as well its no longer called 'British' Sky Broadcasting.
How to access to the SKY Sports Active Channels? Thanks.
Does anyone know what the Ska type music GB News uses before their weather forecast?
January 2017
I love how the audience are reacting to these calls in the most overly dramatic way, as if they just found out Michael Jackson died or something
Mike Read has gorgeous breath.
2 fish suppers and 2 cans of iron brew please - Doris 😂
Won’t go with ‘you bet your fm life’ but perfectly happy to broadcast pure homophobia 😂
Very cool. News at Ten was iconic and legendary.
Because Border Television owned Century Radio, this left the stations vulnerable to its eventual takeover by Capital Radio, which left Border as an ITV franchise at the hands of Granada.
even the legend who started the f her right in the didn't get 2 legend
14:53 This Derek Hatton hasn't got *CLUE NUMBER ONE* about operating a broadcast desk! I did 10 years + on Community Radio here in Australia, and also trained presenters new to the station. 1) Before going on air, set the presenter's mic to the *CUE* channel and adjust the fader so that the audio level never goes much above 0db. Transient peaks of +1db or +2db are tolerable but *NO LOUDER!* When the optimum announcer level is determined, *LEAVE THE FADER SET AT THAT LEVEL!* Don't keep sliding the fader down then back up. Instead, when time to speak, press the "Programme" or "Air" button, however it is labelled, make your announcement, then close the mic *BUT LEAVE THE FADER ALONE!* And keep your yap-yap to a minimum! FM is a *MUSIC-ORIENTED* band! And the rule with the announcer's mic applies also to the music playback faders, keep the faders set at the same level and only open or close the Programme or Air buttons. As you're not using 45rpm or LP records(I can't see any turntables), there's no need to fade out any content.
I agree he's someone who's never even seen a fader before in his life. Some basic training was being given and maybe an actual training course with an educator would have helped but blame the broadcast company for that. Derek Hatton was a politician for many years and not a radio presenter.
@@fluxington I doubt that Derek Hatton could even comprehend what was being shown to him.
3:25 If you run an FM station, the magical ingredient is *MUSIC IN STEREO!* Not endless yap-yap! And the music *MUST* be of good quality, so anything made after 1990 belongs in the garbage bin! But also leave enough room in that bin for Kiss and Village People with their *UTTER SHIT!*
The thing is, satellite TV may well have been surpassed by the internet. We're already watching this over the internet, then we have streaming services such as iPlayer, ITVx, Netflix, Amazon Prime and so many others. Sky have ran Now TV for years and have launched Sky Glass and Sky Stream. It seems like a return to cable except over the internet including ADSL over fibre and copper! Whehter that's considered an improvement over satellite TV is yet to be seen. Governments and ISPs can shut down sources over the unternet in the way they can't over satellite (pr couldn't over analogue satellite)
in southern England there’s been Wave105 who’s star presenter to me is a Chris Tarrant soundalike plus presenters usually called Andy Matthews ,Matt Andrews ,Steve Power, Mike Stevens, Steve Michaels ,Sophie Green & Kate White whom have played the same 250 songs which made the Top10 in the 1970s 1980s & 1990s on repeat since 1998 - with added 5 x world headline bad news soundbites every 15 minutes along with news of failed temporary traffic system failures 50 miles from where you’re driving…. It was successful for 26 years which baffles me because i grew up with Radio Victory which often played music based on actual sales & choices of 4 record shops in the city & had distinctive & authentic presenters yet lost out to crummy Ocean Sound after 10 years. 😁👍🐢🍒thanks for this
I remember watching Star Trek TNG on SKY One, and the Simpsons, but in my case over Satellite. Until the Signal would Scrambled. Good times. But Something has never changed, back then and now, the Channels have too much Adverts for PAY TV Stations. And Especially in GB the Basic Pay tv is not Cheap. Up to £41 for just the Basic TV. Like Sky Showcase and so, wit massive adverts in the Program, and even Worse National Geographics Channel and so on. And In germany we never had to use a Set top box to watch analogue cable TV. End it was never Encrypted. Just with the start of Digital TV that was Necessary. Until the TVs comes with a Build in Receiver. And we have no Adverts that Interrupts your PAY. Or Hours of Long adverts shows like it is in GB. (In PAYTV) By Side the USA the UK are the worst Country what TVs concerns. Not the Program is bad, but the massive adverts are, for a Paying Audience.
Filmed like a Jason Bourne movie - had to watch at 0.25x speed to avoid a seizure
ann diamond looks like i feel
That merger with BSB really worked a treat in terms of having a monopoly on movies.
The good old days of Free Satellite TV, now days are the Most TV Stations Encrypted. Only News and Religious Channels are free. or like the UK has in a Specific Spot Beam. And SKY Has his Satellite "Monopoly" on Astra 28.2
Sounds like somebody knocking one out at 3.24 onwards 😂😂
2.43, I thought Vine was going to say "I must apologise for being a c**t"
Im a yank, and absolutely love the old Grenada programs.
Pretty much all norveners as well. Gotta love em
Janet Street Porter was useless. Red Dwarf writer Doug Naylor remember in 1993 during their sixth series, she was somehow involved in reviewing their scripts. When she saw the Gunmen of the Apocalypse episode, she told them it wouldn't possible to film the outdoor scenes, it would be impossible and they should drop the idea. Doug gleefully told her, they had already filmed all of the outdoor scenes and it is now in the can. Total silence from her and she never bothered them again.
The appearance of Colin Powell in the background at 9:13 threw me off
These aren't prank calls, they're just grown men swearing. It's not even funny.
Actually at first, their "studios" were at a TV Facilities company called Molinare. I worked there.
Why are these TV programs discriminating people with Tourette’s?
Sky News Vs. BBC NEWS 24 Vs. ITN
Maybe if the BBC didn't move to MediaCity UK, ITV wouldn't either. Also even after the big studio shut down, I got to see the Granada Studios Tour entrance back in 2018 or so!
Beautiful studios but the video is almost unwatchable due to the too-fast camera action. Can we see another one where there's time to enjoy each of the different areas of the studiio?
I click the link in the description but it shows nothing
Ahh yes Craig from Preston 😂 doing Preston proud 😂😂
Who helped Sky? The Simpsons
Rather more amateur than I was expecting.

Hi Andy. Thanks for your video. Ive been using OtsAV (for my radio station) since 2005 and I love it. I down loaded the TV demo for a 30 day free trial, but I can't see how to output the MP4s to my OSB, which I record and stream live from . Hope you can help. Cheers, Grant
