We have a game schedule for the weekend, and it's gone be my 1st time playing the Arborec

Love your videos! Just one question; why do you not research Supercharge? As a new player I would assume superchage is very strong because of all the extra die you get to roll with mech + flagship. Is it the opportunity cost of researching a better tech or am I overvalueing +1 to combat rolls once?

Unholy abomination is better on offense due to capacity. This is a good faction for Primor.

Thanks again for your contribution to the TI community! It’s also great to see your production quality increased with every video! I’m wondering if the background music is really necessary though (It really isn’t if you ask me, but I guess there might be different opinions on that - rock on!)

As always, love the video!! I do think you are slightly understating just how powerful getting Cruiser 2 Rd1 can be, especially with the strength of the NRA mechs. The Cru2+Mech combo is probably THE best early game strike force in the game, matched maybe only by Argent Destroyers with a mech. Your Speed 3 allows you to threaten MR from your home system on your first turn of Rd2 without waiting for Tech to pop. And for 4 resources, you have the same health pool as a dread, but significantly more damage output both in space and on the ground. And if it was built by following warfare, you even could take another planet in the meantime 😂. Lastly, while 5ccs for Hyper Metabolism is very good, in my experience you will already get 1-2 from fragments, which offsets any delay in getting HM by a turn.

gonna play against NRA next game - gonna be hard to stop them

I love the opening gag! There might be an error around 15:27-you say the NRA mechs on the ground have a 90% chance to hit. Dice that hit on 6 have a 50% chance each, with both of them having a 75% total chance of hitting at least once. If you consider their average hit rate, it’s exactly 1 (0.5 * 2). If I’m wrong do let me know. As always great video, your insights are wonderful.

I'm not sure about Construction as a good pick unless you really feel you need that pds or thinking of going the pds2 route. Chances are someone else will take it. Low production cap on homeworld isn't great but you typically don't need the forward dock right away. Just build more expensive ships at hime fir a turn.
